- Here is my first pitstop, at the end of the second lap of the Senior TT, onboard the Ice Valley BMW.
You can hear the tools and the team working. Daz, my crew chief, talks to me and the guy on fuel. "Chill," he says.
Then, pitstop over, I'm back up to speed and off down Bray Hill to start lap three.
During this race, on the last lap, I got the Newcomers lap record at 129mph which still stands today.
Massive thanks to everyone involved in giving me the chance to race at the TT for the first time that year.

I've been watching old TT review dvds of the 80s and 90s - 2000s. The amount of people who used to stall in the stop box before the pit and have to push to the fuel rig was unreal. Looks much safer now with a pit limiter instead of encountering a stalled rider or two at the entrance.
All the pit crews wear the same colour, easy to miss them! 👀 saw Dean Harrison pull into Hicky’s pit box Senior TT 2017.. 😆
The guy with his legs apart in the pit stop, he's trusting you and the brakes to work correctly , he's also a brave man (like all you TT racers are)

for a sek there I thought they where preparing to make a gearbox-shift or something. Was just the camera guy holding the camera like a little baby, or gearbox if you like. Love the cornerspeed! Right out of the box, and strait back on it! Thats how you do it!

Anybody else expected the pitstop to have a little more haste about it ? Just used to seeing F1 stops. Not criticising, just surprised.
