CSR2 now... shitty game with a shitty cloud system.
Danny - Video Games oh yeah. Only thing csr2 has on the original is newer cars but other than that CSR1 has it held down. Hell even Classics did a good job

I started the event earlier than you, so every day opens at what hour you started the event, for example: I started the event at 8 am and every day unlocks at 8 am.

Actually, I tried to do it with the Mustang without the mechanic and failed. I don't know if how it worked for you but I lost the race by about 2 seconds so the mechanic might not have helped me anyways. The Mustang 302 was also maxed out.
