Great vid, worth the chance, was fishing the exact same spot last week and had 2 congers back up into holes and come off line, and another big one come off my hook while i was trying to land it on them steps. Definitely worth trying to go for them at least !
Love Dartmouth like a second home had a house there for years if fishing the lower ferry by the cannon cast out in to the Middle near the massive mooring bouys 60ft at low tide where its the deepest and if you are a really good caster cast out in the direction of the mouth there's a really deep hole in the river bed you wont get the middle but the edge if you want the middle go to the castle steps and cast towards Dartmouth it's 25m at the lowest tides and if you want a good spot up towards Dittisham theres another hole about 25m deep called the ray hole for obvious reasons
Actually the biggest mullet I've seen on the Dart anywhere was on the outside of the ferry pontoon just up from you unfortunately you can't fish there and they know it I've tried another place is Kingswear there's a railway bridge with arches and a little cut fish in there
Cracking vlog Paul, look's like cheeky girl and yourself had a nice time in the royal William yard, looks like that Bret and yourself had a good night fishing, looking forward to the mullet fish off between you two the banter will be fun🤣🤣, looking forward to your next vlog so until then take care and tight lines 👊🎣.

How did you find the current? Little tip when fishing there - is to fold the spikes on your gripper weight 90degrees it slows the roll right down 👍
Thanks for the tips! Small tide still fast 💨
