Hamas at one time had a policy against targeting civilians but that changed after the Barusch Goldstein Cave of the Patriarchs massacre in Hebron 1994. Okay look. I am going to list something's here I want honest answers. Have the Israelis opened a humanitarian corridor for civilians to leave Gaza city? To my knowledge no. Has the IDF moved heavan and earth to get women, children, the elderly or the infirm out of harms way? Again no. Has the IDF targeted hospitals, and refugee camps with disregard for the civilians inside them both Palestinian and foreign national? Yes Was October 7 a heinous act? Absofuckinglitly! Does it give Israel the right to do unto others what has been done onto them? No! I argue two points. 1. Two wrongs do not make matter right. All Israel has done is given Hamas its next group of soldiers. With every child kiled whether by accident or design the IDF creates more enemies not only in Gaza but aboard. 2. Human rights are for ALL humans. Last i checked the Palestinians are part of the human race. If i am wrong please someone correct me. This means they are entitled to the same rights as the Israelis. What a shame! In a healthy democracy, diverse perspectives and dissenting voices should be allowed to flourish as they are essential for a thriving democratic process. Censure, could set a precedent that discourages frank and sometimes uncomfortable discussions which are integral to the functioning of a democratic system. It is vital to strike a balance between accountability and the preservation of democratic principles that allow for the expression of differing viewpoints.

I admit I struggle with what is "anti-sematic". It’s not anti-Semitic to denounce Israel’s actions. American politicians are using the anti-semitism argument to silence our opposition to imperialism and genocide. Given that the American government rejected thousands of Jewish refugees during the Holocaust, I don’t believe anti-semitism is what they are trying to fight in this war.
The Israel lobby has very loudly proclaimed that any opposition to the Israel government or Israel itself is “antisemitic”. I cannot equate these two with being anti-Jewish. Have the Israelis opened a humanitarian corridor for civilians to leave Gaza city? To my knowledge no.
Has the IDF moved heavan and earth to get women, children, the elderly or the infirm out of harms way? Again no.
Has the IDF targeted hospitals, and refugee camps with disregard for the civilians inside them both Palestinian and foreign national? Yes
Was October 7 a heinous act? Absofuckinglitly!
Does it give Israel the right to do unto others what has been done onto them? No!
I argue two points.
1. Two wrongs do not make matter right. All Israel has done is given Hamas its next group of soldiers. With every child kiled whether by accident or design the IDF creates more enemies not only in Gaza but aboard.
2. Human rights are for ALL humans. Last i checked the Palestinians are part of the human race. If i am wrong please someone correct me. This means they are entitled to the same rights as the Israelis. Either Human Rights are for all Humans or for none. There is no in-between.
I hope and pray this makes sense and enumerates why we need to stop the fighting in Gaza post haste. Moreover we need to hold Israel to the same standard we held Russia during the Ukraine War.
