Thanks a lot for presentation, Mon! Last year I bought the Äpplaryd Sofa with Recamiere and what should I say: it's soooo comfortable and high enough also for older people 🙂
Thanks Mon very nice presentation of the IKEA sofas. Here in Australia we don't have the Uppland sofa yet, it looks like a lovely improvement on Ektorp, which I bought last year. It's comfy but pocket springs in the seat cushions would be even better.😊
I love the Uppland corner sectional. So comfortable! Not sure of covers though. I also love the Viskafors in that green-gray color. So classy and it's so comfy! Deep comfy seat on it. The cream is beautiful but the grandchildren would destroy it with stains. (probably me, too. Lol) The modular looks interesting and fun but back does not look high enough (I'm 5'8" tall) Thanks for a great video :)
@@HomeByMon Try it out, I did and it shouldn't be recommended. Looks are not everything, this sofa is just terrible to sit on. Too bad, it looks amazing...
Thank you so much! 🥰 I know.. I try to film as much as I can when I visit Ikea, but tbh it's not a close ride, so I don't go that often. I will try to include as much clips as I can im my next videos! Thanks 💞
The Slatorp sofa looks comfy. I haven't tried it, but it looks comfier than the Applaryd sofa tbh ☺️ I think you can't go wrong with both of these choices, but it would be nice to make a trip to Ikea and try them out before deciding 🥰
Applaryd looks stylish, but not invitingly comfy "personal cave" to me. It doesn't give me "I want to live here" vibes, more sort of "look at my pretty living room, visitors" vibe. Jättebo does this opposite: Looking very comfy to spread out on with a good inviting cushion cave vibe, but looks a bit too thick to be stylish. I think I need something in between, that doesn't look daft, but rectangular, minimal and modern :) Kivik is more like it. Now if they all had great massive wood frames etc.
@@HomeByMon I actually went sitting on them and found that the Sörvallen has for me the best feel .. it's stiff enough to not sink in as a 105 KG person and still comfy to a much lighter person. I like it's simplistic shapes and the storage it also has. I wonder why it's not on your list, as it seemed to be one of the upper quality IKEA sofas.
@@philippesteindl3356 Oh yes, I've seen the Sörvallen sofa in my local Ikea store, but did you know they don't sell it everywhere? For example, you can't find it in any Ikea in the USA. Even online. So that's why I didn't include it in my list, it wouldn't be fair. But I personally love it!!
Went to ikea the other day and i feel like the most comfy sofas are the ugliest ones. Example of that is Hyltarp. Those skirts are truly ugly but the my ass was happiest on it. 😂
Make your self a favor and dont buy sofa from Ikea. I made that mistake and after 1,5 year "leather" started to peel. Ikea says that this is normal use and not warranty. So 10 years warranty from Ikea is a big lie
I bought the soderhamn recently myself, it's super comfortable and easily wide enough for 3 people, if not 4
Uu so nice hearing it first hand ☺️ Love the Sodernhamn sofa!
@@HomeByMon You're welcome :) really enjoyed the video, I think you had good taste with your after seeing the sofas in person as well
@@joshmiller7777 So glad you like it 🥰

So glad you like my video! And thank you for sharing your experience 🥰 The Äpplaryd sofa is so beautiful ❤️
I already get 1 sofa..3 seaters very soft n very nice n very cheap..I like it so much ..tks for sharing Mon ❤
These are all my favourite sofas from ikea! The problem is I have a scratching cat. Destroyed two sofas.....😅
Ohh no 😅 Good thing Ikea is also selling covers for most of these sofas, so you can change them up if they get destroyed 🥰
Manda fazer seu sofá de água samer e um tecido anti gato muito bom os gatinhos não fazem nada com esse ticido😊😊😊
Thank you. The measurements and configurations you gave on the sectional were very helpful too.
So glad I could help! 🥰

Yes, it's a nice improvement, and the pocket springs make all the difference ☺️💕 I'm sure they'll get it in stock soon 🥰

Thank you so much for your comment 💞 You made some really good points 😅
Nice video. i could learn a lot from it.
Glad you liked it 😊
could you please do a review of the new LÅNGARYD couch.
Will do!! 🥰
In Sweden the most popular sofa is Söderhamn. It sells like butter over here!
It's a nice one for sure ☺️ I really like it myself
Interesting, my favorite is the Jattebo sofa !
That's mine favorite too!!! 😍

@@snoeki ohh no 😔 Thanks for sharing your experience 💞 It's such a bummer that a beautiful sofa like this is uncomfortable.
Jattebo is so comfortable! It’s like laying in a cloud!
Thanks for trying out for each one! Helps a lot! Also, I think you look better in Ikea clips than the monologue clips. So cute!

Very informative video! Have you by any chance tried the Slatorp sofa? I’m debating it or the Applaryd sofa at the moment

Any thoughts on the Smedstorp?
I think it's a pretty nice budget sofa. However, I don't know if it's comfy, since I haven't seen it in store 😅
@@HomeByMon I bought it and it's fantastic.

Oh I get it, and you might be right 😅 Also, Ikea released a new sofa recently, it's called LÅNGARYD. You can check it out, maybe it meets in between 🥰

Applaryd is pretty comfortable actually. It has pocket springs in the seats. It just doesn’t look big and fluffy like others.
Slatorp is the only soft and comfortable ikea couch
🙌👍
They are good to look at. Sitting? Sit in the floor it's cheaper and possibly more comfortable.
Hahaha 🤣
We have the kivik and it is sooo comfortable, I love it
Looks like you live on a Mediterranean island 🏝️
Oh I wish 😅🫶
Babe do you like anything but beige and grey?
Some of these sofas like the linanas aren't really that comfortable. One should try them before buying.
Yes! Definitely 🙌
