- Need for Speed Unbound (PS5) 4K 60FPS HDR Gameplay (Free Roam). Need for Speed: Unbound is an upcoming game in the Need for Speed series with a December 2, 2022 release date[1], following a revision from an expected September to October release.[2] First announced on June 18, 2020 as part of Electronic Arts' "EA Play Live June 2020" presentation, it was shown during a section about the publisher's next generation series of games, targeting the then unreleased PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S hardware. Following its first official reveal in June 2020, it is being developed by Criterion and is described as to "include a new Need for Speed game that is bringing some astounding visual leaps, developed by the Criterion team, who have launched some of the most highly-rated games in franchise history". Alongside Criterion, Codemasters Cheshire is assisting in development of the game and the Need for Speed series as a whole. The game's development was pushed back by a year in March 2021, with Criterion pausing development of their Need for Speed game to assist DICE and their in-development "Battlefield 6", which would later be revealed as Battlefield 2042.

Oh man, because of that Mitsubishi Eclipse, watching this brought back a lot of great memories from 2001, and seeing The Fast And The Furious for the first time. Great times, and really miss seeing Paul Walker in movies too. RIP. He was a great actor to watch.

@@matthewwarner3618 Most definitely. They kept getting more and more ridiculous, especially the stunts and the use of CGI, but the movies were just not as good either though. The first 2 will always be my favorites, but 2 Fast 2 Furious will always be my top favorite, simply because it was a fun movie, but also really good too, with a great cast as well.

I will say… aside from all the goofy cartoonish effects the map is way more interesting. Graphics are much better than Heat, world is more lived in with walking npc’s and more traffic.
Lol the pick up driver went mad when you did not entered properly on the street, indeed realistic.
I wasn’t going to get the game because of the cartoon effects. However I tried the 10 hour trial and absolutely loved it so I bought it. The cartoon effects aren’t actually that big of a deal, you get used to it. The cops can definitely be annoying but it’s definitely fun. The cars look amazing and the customization is great. I’m having a blast. I highly recommend it.

It was the opposite for me. I bought it thinking it should be a good game. A few hours later I asked for a refund... I hate this game. The driving physics are awful.

Like when will Need for Speed finally figure out we don't want cartoon effects. But a more customize all the way to the carb and parts. Hoizion did it pretty well. Pretty much a Real Drving game

miss the awesome visuals with the great camera pans and the lower, closer camera angle of NFS 2015 😞 everything else drives sooo boring and is so far away from the action that you fall asleep.
I almost bought this game today, but the idea of it raining 24/7 in the game made me lose interest.
Don’t let the cartoonish stuff discourage you guys , I’m a midnight club and underground fan all day in this game is very entertaining to play !!!!

Вид конечно просто шикарный, однако раз уж авторы решили делать упор на реализм, то надо бы добавить эффекты езды в мокрую погоду.
Конечно приятно видеть пасхалки из 1 и 2 NFS underground, и налипание капель на экран приятное, а не как в NFS most wanted - 5 больших капель на весь экран.
Однако, из мост вантеда они могли бы почерпнуть идею проработки реакции на мокрую погоду, а именно брызги из под машин во время дождя.
Или как вон в NFS underground 1, там на въеде в канал канализации есть лужи, при проезде которых разетались брызги. Вы только вдумайтесь, это был 2003 род, а тут через 20 лет в новой NFS брызг от луж нет даже и в помине.
В most wanted брыги Пусть И примитивные во время дождя были у всех машин даже у NPC.
А тут что вечный дождь? Или это надо проходить с бокалом портвейна? Меня вот депресняк хватил от сей картины... Я это каждый день и так вижу в своем Челябинске. Целостного образа не создаётся... Просто езда на просто зелёной машине по просто городу. Напрашивается вопрос: и что дальше?..

Graphics looks good but the physics is still unrealistic like the previous NFS games.
The car runs over all that water on a rainy day and no splash effects or effect on the handling of the car like hydroplaning. Car's handling is not affected, no matter what surface.
No car damage or environmental damage. The grass doesn't even get flattenned when it gets run over lol.

Good looking game but enough with all the annoying sounds they add in like every seconds its an electro magnetic spark sound, then a deep bass sound then crackle then a dub step sound etc. Makes it a bit stupid like an over the top sound effects movie to create fake impact. I just wanna hear the car itself.

the game is alright. the cartoon fx arent all that hot and the handling can be improved other than that the soundtrack is good, the cars look and sound amazing, and the story is actually more interesting than the last NFS game

The reissue of NSF 1 and 2 with such graphics would have been made and there was a top one game, even the music was left behind
If you want your game to look better changed the tv settings set it to your liking and boom it will even look good on a 1080p tv trust my every game system i had from ps2 original xbox and 360 ps3 xbox one and ps5 all looked good i only have a sony 1080p tv from 2011

@@keithhummel6660 most likely the tv, games usually let you change the colour/brightness settings or HDR in game, if this isnt the case, you can manually change the display setting in your tv
