This is what rap was about in the day, speaking out and using our voices. Rap is stupid now and all about materialistic things, instead of wtf is going on right in front of our faces! Wake up America!!!

    • @bextings7479

scoobysdoobys Immortal technique is still going strong rapping about the poblems of life and a less known rapper who puts forward strong message's is K-rhino. There is more than these but these two are my favorites so not all rap has gone to shit, there is still the odd beacon of hope out there.

It hits so hard because it’s THE TRUTH ABOUT MODERN DAY. We can all relate to it and thank your lucky stars that’s not you in the factories, the prisons, the endless circle of stupidity enslaving our own species throughout history, some things will never change.

Not sure where the clip is from but it's about a court case called "United States v. Kil Soo Lee". It involved a garment factory on US soil in American Samoa. Just FYI, all illegal garment factories have been shut down in all US territories. It's really funny that this song features a clip about American Samoa because garment factories weren't that common there. They were actually much more common on the other US territory called Saipan. But all factories closed by 2009.
