Thank you so much. I was having a hard time trying to read the installation guide. After watching your video I realized it was easier than I thought. In my case I had to connect the black wire to a red wire.
There is almost zero downsides to turning off the breaker (other than a slight inconvenience). The downsides to leaving it on can range from discomfort to bankruptcy due to medical bills to disability to death.
Thank you for this video. Just picked up this light. I found it easier to screw the ring on the flexible stud, let it hang, then put the glass diffuser on, and tighten. Also the copper and bare wire for me was wrapped around a nut. Thanks again!
In a lot of reviews on the COSTCO people say the screws are to short, I just used the screws that was holding the fixture that I removed which were longer and everything went well , and I agree with pksangavaram with putting ring on flexible stud, then attach the glass and lift up from the ring and get the other 2 studs to go through the holes in the ring and while holding put on the other nuts
I have a light similar to this that came with the house when i bought it 6 yrs ago. It's burned out, how do i replace it? Do i need to buy a whole new one?

What made it easier for me, was to partially thread the two screws and then line up the fixture. The screws will easily pass through the cutout and then you twist the fixture to keep it from falling. Instead of trying to blindly find a screw hole through the fixture. It can be very frustrating!
Hey bro , nice review. I been meaning to buy it at Costco. My only question is , is that white led light or yellow led. Because o don't have any yellow led at home. Everything is white led bright !

Nice tutorial, thanks. I would add that sometimes the power is fed through the fixture box, then split off to the switch. Always turn off the breaker.

That green wire had me stumped, it's basically the bare copper wire. Thx for the video
Exactly what I wanted. Just installed 2 of them.
Thank you so much.

Thanks for tip on using existing studs from old fixture. Saved me a lot of aggravation .
My leds shorted on a power outage. Where can I find the led panel that goes inside so I can change it. Wouldn't want to buy a whole unit.
Same here. Any luck?
Me too

The bare wire is the ground. LEDs will still work but then the install is not up to code I believe.
Can you add actual connection of all the wires the video skips right through and I feel like cutting up all the wires in my house right now
Thanks for the tutorial 👍
How bright is this light
From my ceiling fixture, I have a red, black and ground/bare coming out. Which ones would I connect to the Energetic wires?
If I connect the Red(ceiling) to the Black(Energetic), where would the Black(ceiling) go?
What if I have 2 black wires and 2 white wires? Do I only use one of each, or do I use 2 black/white wire to connect to the wires for the light?
Make sure that all two black wires to white ones are all connected together

Great tutorial. Exactly what I needed to know.
Hi, I installed the same lamp but the little leds stay on like low dim. Should I need to check the ground cable?
Could be a loose neutral (white wire)

It's white light
Thanks
How do you dim the light of you don’t have a switch?
You'll need to replace the switch with a dimmer switch.
Connection is the same as a switch.
Thanks man!
Perfect
Gracias
Shoot. I only have 2 wires... black and white : (
must be an older home, you seem to have no ground wire
@@paulrobilotti9294 I know, what a bummer!
