Mental wellness is a very important topic for our group. Issues regarding mental wellness and emotional stress affect many college students but also people of all ages and backgrounds. These issues are complex and present themselves in various forms to those affected. Members of our own group too have struggled with mental wellness over the course of their lives.
We recognize there is a stigma surrounding mental wellness, manifesting in people avoiding professional help and burying issues below the surface-level. This is especially common in our own South Asian communities. We hope our stories help remove the stigma surrounding mental wellness and emotional stress in South Asian communities and normalize some of the problems people may face related to these topics. We aim to ignite conversation and bring these issues to the forefront.

This was so beautiful ❤️ I actually heard this the day it came out (yesterday) and have been replaying it since yesterday while doing other work. But today I actually took time to watch the video as well..and it made me very emotional, and realise how we take little things for granted..just be nice to everyone, you never know what they’re going through

Had a terrible, terrible day. As a pre final med student, I have come to realise that instead of learning to treat patients better, my mental health has deteriorated tremendously with the immense pressure and deadlines. Listening to Benny's verse bought a feeling of strong nostalgia of the years that I was truly, truly happy and thriving. Sobbed like a baby. But somehow felt a hope, and a bit better Thank you for making me reminescene the wonderful years when I was a lil kid and used to loveee singing and playing this song for my maa. ❤

i'm having a terrible time at literally everything that i'm doing or supposed to do. my family sees mental illness as a taboo and doesn't discuss it. i have stopped telling them about it, for i don't wanna be called weak every time i do. i'm struggling with literally everything from academics to emotions to sleep to time. i have almost no friends for i've started to think that i add negativity to their already lit lives. this video reflects everything that i'm going through rn.

This video nearly.. reduced me to tears because I relate to BOTH of them so much and infinitely grateful to Penn Masala for bringing it up. The past two years of my life have been a combination of the girl and the guy, constantly not feeling good enough, being extremely lonely, dealing with a challenging curriculum and issues at home. But in the end, I realised, I don’t want to be a sad story case. I want to go out and love people and make them know they’re loved. And I will. Thank you so much.

The transition in any piece of jam or mashup is the most challenging part, and I have to admit it's been wonderfully executed here. The flow from Coldplay's luminescent piece to Dayal's enchanting melody, I only know they're two different songs because I've listened to both individually.

Wow. My life was ruined by Monu Bedi, Harvard Law, Who teaches Criminal Law at DePaul Law. He was vindictive. Got me arrested, I was innocent, Sued me for defamation, He lost. Then he came after my medical license. I was penniless. He put in frivolous lawsuits against me for 5 years and tried to take my career away from me as a Pediatrician. Pooja Khungar Yale 1998. Thank you for this song, it makes me proud of you guys. A Pediatrician desperate for her life back. I am fighting for my life back from this guy.
