Yeah. After the initial excitement after the first few months since it launched, people who opined that the frag cannon was OP changed their opinion about the Deathwatch as tournament rules packets upended previous metas. I don't have problem with them buffing the Deathwatch as they needed that. It's just them buffing the Space Marines that disappointed me. Missed opportunity to improve the bottom-tier factions IMHO.
@@BB-pn2qv True. That's what I'm pushing for. There's one person that said "balanced games are boring." I don't get that. At all. They should imagine the Sisters of Silence getting a larger tactics cards pool. The Servants of the Abyss getting answers for MEQs and improved Chaos Marines. The Genestealer Cults getting rules that greatly mirror their fluff. How would that be boring? It would spark more interest in the game = larger community = more varied enemies for Marine players = greater sales for GW = better experience for all factions = win-win.
Spekd*!! How are you man! You gonna upload more videos now? ^_^ About: "Good clear thoughts and questions." Thanks VERY MUCH appreciated! "I dropped a comment on the wrong spot." This bit confuses me. What comment? @_@
I am usually a GW apologist, but in this case- im not impressed. 160.00usd for 12 miniatures and no real terrain?!😕 and the match up involved are just 'off' you're right about it. Power creep is a polite way to put it Another great video my friend. Hope you and family are well. Be safe!
Adam! Long time no see! Good to see you again! ^_^ Thanks for the comment man. As always, it's VERY much appreciated! ^_^ Yeah, it's just crazy. And they decided to give Imperium Marines 2 wounds. Sooo... what do I say to my wife? "Your Death Guard are just 1 wound but my Salamanders have 2 wounds apiece"? It's like playing a chess game where your side has eight extra pawns. It's clear GW didn't think this out. Currently wrapping up a Grey Knights Faction Focus video. I could have finished this a week back but work and family matters got in the way. I hope to finish and upload it next week. ^_^
For The Greater Kill Team! For a second I forgot that you changed the name of your channel! How are you man! Yeah, I hope you get the position. We need to have someone who actually plays the game and cares about game balance. Also, someone has to do something about the flood of typos. It was funny the first couple of times it happened. Now it's just... sad. It's a testament to how little Games Workshop thinks of this product line. :(
@@PPPointyEars Yeah, doin Okay, we had a baby with my wife since so if it wasn't for Covid, I couldn't get games in anyway, but I still sadhammer at home to test the Heavy Intercessors and surprisingly they are pretty OK, the Custodes...now there's something that will F you up...thank god the latest FAQ for Pariah Nexus was basically a big nothing burger, as always, bringing back Death Denied to 3 CPs for the 2nd time now and leaving all the other problematic rules and weapon update questions unanswered. Omg...if you think the heavy Intercessor is the problem, you got it wrong :)" Whoa. I'll have to sniff around about that. I just stuck with the black-and-white issues that are safe to criticize, otherwise I'd be embroling myself in needless debates. This is why I never got wind of how problematic other units are. Hmm Bladeguard Veteran eh? I'll ask around.
Thank you! Its a challenge, but you know, have to keep the bloodline going :) TTS? Im not touching that stuff. I haven't paid a disgusting amount of money to buy and spent countless hours to paint these minies, for me its the real thing or nothing. Yeah BGV, its 30 point for the SgT, but man...whatever it comes in contact with it Fs up. With the new PN release, I play Astartes only as Iron Hands. But of course Tau is still my Go2, beats Astartes regularly.
@@KillTeamHungary "Thank you! Its a challenge, but you know, have to keep the bloodline going :)" Yeah that's true. It's good to talk with friends over a friendly game while the outbreak is keep us all apart. If not for this fiasco, we would have gone to the LGSs every single day. Ive recently heard that chaos marine units will be getting a second wound on their stat line. Official.... NO. But its definitely expected. Hope that helps with your present games , you could always try a 'houserule ' additional wound characteristic. Be safe & speak with you soon!
Yeah we've actually started homebrewing here, trying to make the lowest-tier factions more viable. Eventually, GW will bring up the rest of the factions to their updated Bighammer stats but if I were them I'd make Kill Team its own game entirely. This copy-paste method is making for some surreal situations. You too Adam! Keep in touch! ^_^
Very cool. I moved from killteam just after commanders and before arena. For the same reasons overall. After that the points never seemed balanced. Could this work if you have points specific to kill team? Rather than using the costs from 40k. The 17 points for a heavy intercessor seems cheap. Warcry is where I ended up for small games and the family enjoy those.
@@Spekd You should test out Arena if you've the chance. I believe it's the game where the LVO and NOVA got ideas from for their rules packets. The introduction of secondaries and the hallways and stuff greatly balanced the game. Before, it was always a shootfest with melee squads falling flat on their faces. Arena's a great set IMHO. Superceded by the LVO and NOVA rules packets but it was great for its time. My wife and I still play it. ^_^ "Could this work if you have points specific to kill team? Rather than using the costs from 40k. " True this. Kill Team needs to be its own game and move away from Bighammer stats as some aspects (multi-wounds and the flood of D: 1 weapons for example) leave something to be desired. I heard Warcry and Necromunda stats are different from Age of Sigmar and end up being better for it? If so, that's the direction Kill Team needs to go.
