El Gordo Velox intro was great.... The best in trucking and food reviews..lol.. Good to see you in a happier mood man.. Safe travels home brother God bless...
That's why I asked u when were going through el paso....I live in that town Anthony, TX ...U COULD have stayed at the house had a home cooked Mexican meal...but it is what it is safe ride
There are parts of Texas that are like most of Montana. If you see a fuel stop, get fuel because who knows with the next one is. Keep the shiny side up Velox and keep them wheels turning and earning.
Your son is gonna be pretty homesick going to school on the other coast isn't he? That'll be allot longer than three weeks, right? He's not into USC, UCLA, Stanford, or even Cal Poly? San Luis Obispo is pretty dang cool. Arizona and Arizona state are okay too. ASU can be a party trap for students though. But the coeds there are, wow. Or even like a UC Santa Barbara?
The numbers may not be the best, but think of it this way. Usually visiting colleges costs you money - a lot of money, even if it’s not great you are visiting colleges and making money and as the point of this trip was to visit colleges not make bank I’d say you are doing great if you come out ahead at all. That’s a win
So was that a painting? or a Neck-tie? There as no way to see the scale. next time put a pop can in the pic so we can see the realtive size. Super cool image...I m sure Honey-Bunny will love it....
You're governed speed, is it because it's a new truck? Unfortunately there's not a Peterbilt dealership till you get to El Paso, good luck, Be Blessed...
@@Velox18 hey velox can you hook me up with your trailer guy. Did you buy or rent. I need a reefer ASAP but one like you got with first month down. That’s hard to find if you bought it
Yes I have thought of it... just want to have something to offer to guys if they run for me... right now I don't have enough connections to make it worth it.
I know you are learning on the fly but traveling at speeds of 75 and above require more tire inflation! If you do decide to travel at these higher rated speeds you're exposing yourself to the possibility of tire failure so please be careful and read up on your tire inflation information especially on the steer tires? I know it's fun to make that truck rock down the highway but man all your doing is giving you profit to the oil companies.... I agree with below slow that bad boy down and put more money in your pocket by increasing your fuel milage... Good luck and safe travels!
Amarillo has second biggest cannon is US 🇺🇸 U should have went by an seen it .. quit wanting to go home an straight up road dogg it ..just hammer out them miles ..u would have super trucker status like me bruh..

Just a heads up rates suck from Phoenix to Cali.
I used to stop in Deming all the time to do my 10 lol
It was boring, lol.
@@Velox18 lol yeah, the travel plaza offers usually decent priced fuel along with free showers only reason I like that place
Twice in my life, I've come within 25 feet of a bolt of lightning. I appreciate it's beauty, but it scares the dooky out of me.
Dude, I didn't get it on camera but a lightning bolt struck about 50 yards off the side of the road... it was super close!

Yeah, it comes governed from the factory.

Yeah so!
Yup when you put it in Mexican overdrive neutral going down hill
Oklahoma Overdrive?
Van horn Was TX ?
Stay at 60mph....save on fuel costs, especially in that big Pete
I just can't do it... I know you're right but I just can't do it, lol.
I'm sure you know that most truck tires are rated at 75 mph...right?
I'll try to make it more descriptive!
Out of curiosity, what gear ratio and tire size are you running
308 and 22.5 low pro
75mph = terrible mpg = $$$
But I get where I'm going waaaaayyyyyy faster! lol

Have you ever thought of expanding your business and hiring guys and start a fleet?
Pretty sure he has never thought of that.... no way. You need to step away from the bong, son.
