The sweeping, symphonic score for this episode compared to the usual electronics was a brilliant touch, really kept me on edge the whole time while watching it.
Totally agree. I own most of the OSTS on vinyl. Unfortunately not all of them very available. An amazing job on combosition, feel and touch. Besides that, the series is an amazing piece of art, in my opinion.
Is it okay to release an electronic cover of this masterpiece if I give credit to you? I understand it's from a show and the rights might not be yours to give. "I thought I'd ask."
Well, here's a bit of well-earned counterpoint in lieu of all the not-so-subtle Tweets of vanilla praise promoted by this clip: in lockstep with Sam Esmail's blunted edge as the series progressed (too busy becoming a daddy/family man?), likewise one of Mr. Robot's best assets -- its music score by Mac Quayle -- just kept getting more and more wadded up into bubblegum season-by-season, resulting in this sort of canned pop that sounds like a Guitar Center demo kiosk for the latest sound library of "orchestral instruments." The gravitas of this episodic drama's subject is nowhere to be heard in this adult-contemporary lite melodrama. It used to rock.
Nah imo (and I'm sure a lot of ppl will agree) the show started off really good and kept getting better through the seasons - this episode (i felt) was one of the best episodes of tv i ever saw, and this scene in particular with this music. that said i agree its kinda weird that he put all the praise he received for it in the video.
Truly Amazing
Man I want a Spotify release for volume 8 so bad.

Vol 8 is a legendary !
"Fate whispers to the warrior, "You cannot withstand the storm," and the warrior whispers back, "I am the storm." - Leighton Dickson
Is this the quote the scene is referencing? I thought it's an original quote
This scene was incredibly powerful
One of the most devastating scenes in TV, absolutely brilliant, and the score is perfect.
The sweeping, symphonic score for this episode compared to the usual electronics was a brilliant touch, really kept me on edge the whole time while watching it.

When release?
You don't have to twitter autofelatio to make impactive music for an impactful scene.
This video actually takes away from the music and the scene.
