Your hotspot temperature was almost hitting 110C which means your card might not been boosting as high as it could. You might want to look at your fan curve and increase it, manufacturers seem to prefer silence to thermal performance
There is a problem with the Cooling on Kryzzp's 6600XT as the Fans are at 100% with these Temps, as he mentioned it is a Pre-Production Unit & has contacted AFOX about it but they are also unsure why it gets so hot, They sent another 6600Xt to a different reviewer, Kryzzp had a chat with him & his one works fine as any other partner models with temps around 70°C using the Stock Fan Curve.
I see. Its an AFOX card, that explains it then. They are known to cut corners. The cards seems otherwise ok, just with a poor cooling solution. Might be interesting to do a DIY project to fix it

Honestly rx 6600 xt is a strong gpu at 1440p and insane at 1080p...with FSR 2.0 + SAM + pair with ryzen CPU you will gain between 25% and 30% performance trust me guys

Graphics in MW mostly impact VRAM usage, when I upgraded my monitor to a 1440p 144Hz one I tried lowering the quality to get more FPS in my old 1060 6GB but I got like 5~10 more FPS but the game was looking like crap for almost no benefit so I turned everything up to max again except for AA which seems to be the only setting that has any noticeble impact in FPS.
Love your videos. Instead of giving a review once, you often revisit the cards, show the popular games, tweak the settings, overclock, undervolt and what more and also show the bright sides of the cards. Unlike the big tech youtubers that bashed this great budget card at release claiming its weak RT performance in comparison to NVIDIAs 3060. 99% of people buying either card wont even enable raytracing because it would cripple the performance too much even at 1080p. Those cards are marketed as great 1080p and thats what your videos have shown us. Keep it up.
Many said that this card was menat for 1080p gaming but in a lot of titles is really good at 1440p, all maxed out and it keeps 60fps so i guess the rx6650 xt which is the one that i have will do a little better
Ye i have 6600xt it does really good job even in 1440p. It would maybe struggle in most demanding games like ceyberpunk but I dont have that gamr and I didnt test it.
I get why people say the 66XT is a 1080p gaming card because AMD themselves marketed it that way... Now, the 3060Ti? It's faster than this and I actually got a comment the other day telling me that my review is useless or whatever because I tested games at 1440p and the 3060ti is a 1080p card... That gpu hotspot worries me. My 6600 was unlocked to 135 watts and still didn't get that hot (like 72/95 on avg/hotspot). I'd recommend going to tuning in the drivers and just enable fan curve tuning and apply. No need to change anything

This game uses so many RAMs and VRAMs that's insane. Guess I should up my budget a little bit for future PC. Is there such thing as a triple channel RAM though cuz 32GB RAM is overkill for gaming.
Intel had Triple Channel RAM on X58 for Nehalem CPUs back in 2008, if you think 16GB is not enough & 32GB too much for Gaming you could have 2x8GB & 2x4GB in a 4DIMM Mobo.
Low settings will create a bottleneck, but I don't think it's at the CPU. If lowering the resolution to 720p increases the FPS, then it's still the GPU that's bottlenecking.
No. On 1080p the CPU does quite a lot of the work. The higher the resolution gets, the more GPU intense it gets. For example you aren’t going to get significantly more fps on a Ryzen 9 5900X compared to a Ryzen 5 3600 on 4K or even 1440p if they’re paired with the same GPU.

1st update the BIOS which will help support faster RAM and next-gen CPUs. Next, get faster RAM, ideally 2x 3600 cl14 ddr4 kit. The 2700X will only support up to 3200 RAM speed but later when you upgrade CPU to something like the 5700X or 5800X (these are dropping in prices), you will see around 25-30% improvement overall.

Any 1080p 144hz should be fine, especially if you never had a high refresh rate monitor! Just avoid TN and VA,VA looks good on higher end monitors but it can have a lot of ghosting in lower end monitors. And TN just looks bad! Only if companies send it :)

Keep the laptop for being a laptop and game on the PC. Try to make the desk efficient and keep it minimal. Associate the laptop with work and PC with gaming. You will do great.

hey kryzzp, around 3 months ago or so i was getting around 144+ at all times on rebirth, but downloaded it again and it drops into the 60s and stays around 110 on rebirth with the same settings, same system, i have 5600g, 6600 xt, 16gb 3600 mhz ram

This is not throttling! The power limit is set to 130W in all budget 6600XTs, doesn't make a bit difference if you have a higher end model either, unless you OC :)

I have a ryzen 3 5300g, rx 6600 8GB and 2x4 ram ( just bought 2x8) but even on all low, fsr performance, u still get sub 70 fps on warzone.

You can test rsr , to boost fps if the game doesn't support fsr.
Kryzzp, why does vram usage drop if I increase resolution too much?
At higher resolution, vram usage is less compared to lower resolutions.
Vram allocation =/= usage
And you see less allocated vram probably because game didnt cache some textures into it after you applied higher res

Any 1080p 144hz should be fine, especially if you never had a high refresh rate monitor!
Just avoid TN and VA,VA looks good on higher end monitors but it can have a lot of ghosting in lower end monitors. And TN just looks bad!

I'm so confused maybe you can help me out. Everywhere I read online says it should draw 160 watts max and mine only does 130 which it appears yours is too, do you know why? Do different ones just have different limits? Actually yours doesn't even seem to be going to 130

hi kryzzp i have been on you channel for quite a while now, and i just got into my dream uni and my parents will buy me a new laptop, whats better for integrated laptop intel iris xe or amd vega? or just wait amd release their ryzen 6000 laptops with rdna 2 integrated, because i already had a gaming pc rn and i want a laptop that can play game like battlefield 1 but has a good battery life like 5hour+ of usage. what do you suggest?
Keep the laptop for being a laptop and game on the PC. Try to make the desk efficient and keep it minimal. Associate the laptop with work and PC with gaming. You will do great.

@@ate__ if you game on it and the GPU die when tomorrow you have to hand over the work you are done. Keep the work on the laptop strict. PC for gaming. Now if you only keep the laptop for work there tons of ultra tin notebooks that holds the battery well.

hey kryzzp, around 3 months ago or so i was getting around 144+ at all times on rebirth, but downloaded it again and it drops into the 60s and stays around 110 on rebirth with the same settings, same system, i have 5600g, 6600 xt, 16gb 3600 mhz ram
What watercooler u use?

Warzone 1 didn't have this issue, now it's super noisy
@zWORMzGaming Have you encountered same situation in different games such us rdr2 god of war last of us and ghost of tsushima? I have downloaded the last driver and this card still produces noise in majority of games and I don't know why

I think the 6600 XT you have is being power limited due to the critical hotspot temps, I really would avoid benchmarking with that 😅
This is not throttling!
The power limit is set to 130W in all budget 6600XTs, doesn't make a bit difference if you have a higher end model either, unless you OC :)

Gtx 1060 / rtx 3050 / rx 6600 should be fine just turn the graphics settings up a little so the gpu gets used more
@@lx7524 won't the 3050 be a little excessive for the apu,i mean cmon that stuff consumed alot of watts and the apu won't be able to keep up so will my ram lmao
@@fineagedlime2326 probably right about the ram i think the 8 gigabytes will limit you but a new ram stick costs about 30-35 € here in germany and the 3050 consumes about 130 watts so it will be alright

I'd go with an RX 470 or GTX 970, also grab 8gb more to run dual channel
