AWESOME Car indeed! I Always use My Electric Starter on My 1923! EVERYBODY THINKS THAT THESE ONLY STARTED WITH A CRANK! A Lot Did! But most Did NOT! They also Confuse My 1924 & 1925 Dodges as Model T`s! Both have Silent Starters on them using 12 volt batteries! I LOVE Teens & 1920s Cars! The song You are using sounds like "Business In F"! I Have a Joe Shawl Orchestra 78 RPM Record version of the song from 1932!
In 1919 they added electric start as an option. Idk how many Ts were built up until then from 1908 to 1919 but I’m sure it’s close to half of the total Model Ts
I LOVE SEEING THESE ON THE ROAD! With a Few Improvements on the Brakes These are FUN TO DRIVE! A Kit can be bought that installs on Your Brakes that have outer bands around the Wheel Brake drums so when You Push the peddle down It activated both sets and will stop You MUCH Better! Most other makes of Cars from then had a Better system! I see You have a Dog that Loves to ride! I Have TWO! Who think that they own the car`s!!
I had a '26 "Doctor's Coupe". PLEASE!! Raise your thumb up so that it is on the same side of the crank handle as your index finger knuckle. If the engine backfires, the crank actually turns backwards, and you could break your thumb, or arm. A friend and his brother tried to start a model T when they were both about 12 or so. My friend was cranking the engine, and his brother operated the controls. His brother tried advancing the spark, the engine backfired, and it threw my friend over a fence also breaking his arm.
Awesome cars, would love to have one someday. Or maybe an A for the more conventional pedals and transmission, lol.
Now you can say you've driven a model T. Thanks for the ride. Enjoyed the post.

Edsel's spine is the drive shaft and his skull is the headlight. Edsel's brain also powers the battery

Thanks I was looking for a video of someone manual cranking to start. I always though you had to crank it circles to start.
You're supposed to crank it with left hand and thumb inside. If it backfires, you'll lose your thumb.
And the Car has a Electric Starter! I only use My crank for Timing! Or Starting if the Battery is Low! Mine is a 1923 4 Door Sedan,!
te lo compro ...pone precio
I have the same style car...just a little shiny er,,,
