Yay for Dominic, was thinking he was bloody awesome earlier in the vlog, the way he wants to be around her, then to hear he found Braylee, kids a legend. So glad this all ended the way it did and thanks for being brave enough to share. ❤️💛❤️💛
I cried when I read that Braylee went missing. Then I cried again when she was found. A parent's WORST nightmare! So glad & relieved that this little sweetheart was found! God bless your beautiful family!❤️❤️❤️
I'm so sorry your fun day had such a dark spot. I'm glad you have such great people around to help! B's safety is in good hands with you guys. One thing you could try is seeing if they have something to put an airtag or similar in that you could pin to her clothes so it can't get lost.
As I was watching the fun, I was just thinking I would comment on what a great day it was, then the unthinkable happened. I can't think of anything more terrifying today than losing a young child in such a busy place. I can certainly understand your mental exhaustion. Thank God she was found safe.
Jacqui...Well said...My heart goes out to David and Stacy for those horrendously terrifying moments that Braylee was out of sight👣🫂 Stacy & David bless your hearts💞
Oh my. One minute, Braylee is having fun, the next minute, she went missing. I’m glad Braylee is still safe and found unscathed. Much prayers and love to y’all.
Couldn’t be surrounded by a better team of family and friends, and more loved than she is. I love the relationship you’ve built with Emma, Dominic, and their mom. What a gift you all are to each other. Hugs to all of you. 🥰
Omgosh I couldn't imagine the feeling that you & Steacy were going through. So, so happy she is in your arms & home safely. Bigger hugs & kisses tonight as she goes to bed. 😌
I was going to comment about how cool it was Braylee was trying to make friends and what fun she was having and then she went missing. That must have been so scary for you all and I'm so thankful that she was found safe!
I am so grateful she was found. I am glad so glad you guys had fun except when she went missing. I am so grateful God put amazing people on this Earth to look and found her. I am also grateful everyone is ok.
That must have been such a worrying end to a fun outing! Glad you had a good support crew who could jump into action right away, but I bet it felt like ages at the time. One of those tag things sounds like a good idea.
I’m so sorry that happened to you guys. The same thing has happened with my brother a couple times. It’s terrifying bc he thinks everyone is good, kind and friendly. Unfortunately, we all know this isn’t true. It’s been awhile but I remember that feeling of being completely drained after you find them. This happens to anyone with kids.
My heart goes out to you for such a moment of fear you must have had. Even watching children so carefully it can happen and I am so sorry it did happen to you. I hope you can remember the good time you had that day and not just what happened at the end.
Every parents worse nightmare. It happened to us also, a few times. Our kids are Neuro typical. That feeling that they are gone, so fast. So scary. So many racing thoughts.
All love to you all! When your kid gets lost like that you really panic. My daughter loved to hide when she was younger and never understood when she should show her self. I remember when she was around ten years old and we were at a lake and the kids were swimming. All of a sudden she was nowhere to be seen. I yelled her name several times but no answer. I was just about jumping in the water when she came out from under the dock and hade a big smile on here face. She said “haha mom you couldn’t find me!” and couldn’t understand why I was so scared at all. I can’t count all the times she have made me think she was gone or even worse dead. She has autism to so she never understood the dread I felt. No she is 17 and have learned to not do that by practice and lot’s and lot’s of explaining. Take care, all of you! Much love! 🇸🇪
Very very thankful braylee was found. So sorry you guys had to go through that. But I understand. Thankful you guys went with friends that helped and looked for her. Don't blame you for feeling mentally exhausted I would be as well as a parent. Glad she had a fun time before that happened.
Bless y’all’s hearts. As a parent I know that had to be TERRIFYING!!! I always worried about that when my kids were little. It can happen so easy in the blink of an eye
This was petrifying. I’m so glad you found her, and how true that the clock ticks faster when you are looking for her. Every second is fearful. I’m glad you all enjoyed yourselves, and even more happy you’ll be getting an AirTag. I would say that is a fundamental necessity at this point. Be safe. Breathe. Hug her and keep being the safe super parents you are. ❤️
From experience, I agree, it takes a only a split second for a child to escape our line of vision. Trying to locate my child may have taken only 5 minutes, but it felt like an eternity of hell for me till he was found. I'm so impressed you guys kept it together and did everything right to locate Braylee. It's so sad that we live in a time where our deepest fears are not just triggered by over reacting, rather from knowing other parents weren't as blessed with a happy ending. Sending you guys hugs, take care of yourselves.
Just watched this on 8/3/22. My heart is crying for you all. It’s heart and gut wrenching when a neurotypical child goes missing, especially in a place like the fair, but with a nonverbal, autistic child it must be double fear. I’m so glad all is well, and I can only hope that you all who were so affected have recovered as much as you can. I’ve watched your family go and grow through wonderful, as well as hard times, and every single time you learn and teach others so much. Thank you for sharing your lives as much as you do, so that others can learn and be more aware of autism. ❤️
That's the most terrifying thing to happen to any family but when you child cannot tell people who she is or who her family is David I feel your pain I am glad she is safe and sound. xxxxx
Try not to beat yourself up over the accident that happened. I know you can't help but to I would to if it was me. But think of the positive she was found she was safe she was happy everyone did a great job of doing their part of looking for her! May God bless and help you all heal from this terrifying situation and may he give you the strength to move on from it!! Love you guys❤️!!
We also have a child that has Autism with absolutely no safety awareness so the fear of him not being in our line of sight and close enough for him to hear us is a scary for us. If we can’t see him, even for a few seconds, our fear factor kicks into high. Therefore, we knew exactly the emotions y’all had to be going through when Braylee wandered off. Our child is in his teens now and he still holds my hand when we go to places that have large numbers of people but worry, at times, that he will pull away and run before we can stop him.
It’s easy to loose a child in such crowed area. There are so much brain stimulation reducing our attention. But when it happens, its such a chock! I understand how you and Stacey must feel. Its a good idea to find a device that would help track her. One of my grand child of 4 years old has Attention deficit disorder and is also hyperactive so when we go out in public places we are always asking each other “where is Alice?’’ We just saw in your video that Braylee can possibly follow any child she might find interesting….At the same time it was great to see her social interaction.❤️❤️❤️
I'm so relieved that you were not able to find Braylee. (Sorry if I misspelled her name) That is a very scary emotional event...especially getting the police and authorities involved... I started crying...It has reminded me of the few times I've had to call the police because my son decided it was ok to walk out the front door of the house while I was in the bathroom... minutes seem like hours... BUT I'm wondering what is an "air tag"? My son is starting kinder in a private school in the next couple of weeks... you are amazing 👏 ❤️. Thank you for sharing your life with me, I always learn so much!!!
Please don’t discard my comment I love to see you’re family and it’s so awesome to see Braylee doe so many things at the fair and it must be terrifying to not seeing Braylee when there are so many people luckily you saw her, I love you’re family🦋🦋🦋
I know how that felt... When my son was 4, he went missing at Disneyland... He went up the stairs to go down the slide, and he never came down.... I immediately went into panic mode. All the Disneyland employees were looking for him... My son was found in the ball pit. It was in a kids play area. I was waiting for him to come down the slide, and he never did... He went back down the stairs with out me knowing, and went into the ball pit. I am so grateful that he was found safe. Kids can take off very fast. Even when you are watching them close. I am thankful that Braylee was found, and she is safe.
Yeah I think an air tag would be a great idea. When I was a kid I just left to go wherever I wanted. I have adhd and it was normal for me to go. I once, in a foreign country, when I was two years old walked back into a lift pressed the buttons and was gone. One of the hotel staff found me some time later. I have many memories as a child being anywhere but home, not something that is comforting to look back on. I looked at google maps of where I walked from my memories and I can't believe how far away I went as a child and that it was ok.
I heard you were thinking about an AirTag for Braylee. I’ve just been looking at them on Amazon and they have holders that are like a watch for kids to wear (not sure if she might take that off though) but they also have ones that go on a collar (I was looking at one for my dog) and they have two loops that slip through a flat piece of material so one of those could possibly be slid over her medical alert autism band and you could just put the air tag into it when you’re going out somewhere that’s busy or where she’s more likely to need it?
Looks like everyone was having fun, right up until the unthinkable happened. So scary, I can't even imagine. Does the fair have any type of Missing Child/Child ID services? I know at our local fair they provide stickers for parents to put on their child's clothing. That sticker has a number on it and that number is then associated with that child's profile & the parent's phone number. They used to tell parents to just write their phone number on the sticker, but they found that there were people walking around writing the phone numbers down.
Hey😄Watching your channel for years and loving seeing her grow so much... Concerning that day's ecape: haven't you considered putting an Airtag on her? Wouldn't that be helpful in locating her? Just my 2cents....
Let me start by saying how much fun, It looked like at the fair!! Neurotypical kids go missing too! (this is for people that don't normally follow you or watch this channel). Although it's the scariest thing in the world, please don't listen to any the negative people that love talking about how perfect they were and their baby never cried, never got lost, and all those other weird brags they like to do on family channels. I've found that other kids usually find them first, because they think the same. ❤
Oh, David, I know it was horrible for all of you to not know where Braylee was. Seconds feel like hours when you are looking for your child. I'm very happy that things turned out okay.
Sooo sweet!!! Do you think Braylee is aware of danger? Ive heard that Autistic children have no sense of fear and/or strangers. Please educate me. LOVE YOU GUYS 💖
I know that is terrifying! I was at a park not too far away from home, with my daughter and son. In a few seconds I turned my head to look at my daughter playing with another kid , looked back at my son, who was 5 year old at the time and he vanished. I quickly got my daughter,.. to run out the park to look for him. Thank God his father was home he called me and told me my son was there. He literally ran home, crossing two streets by himself. He thought I left him and it was insane because I never left him. There were only about 8 people in the park and we were a part of that 8. The only explanation is that he just blackout... he didn't recognize his sister and mom. He put in his mind that we were not there, and ran all the way home. That day I thought I failed as a mom, just taking my eye off of him for a few seconds. Although he never did it again.. he is 9 now.. it still haunts me till this day. Hope this puts a little comfort it happens to even the most careful, over protective parent >>me.. thank God you guys found her. May God continue to bless her.
Last weekend I went to a waterpark with one of my friends and her kids (15 and 12 the 15 year old had a friend). My friends daughter has Down Syndrome and she’s 12. She thinks she is old enough to do everything on her own and wants that independence. Well we were in the lazy river and she decided in the middle that she was done and jumped out then ran off. Well by the time my friend got to the steps her daughter was gone. I was behind and didn’t know what happened so I hurried up to her. She was in a full blown panic looking for her, her son and his friend was looking, I was looking. Her son found her crying because she couldn’t find me and her mom. It was about 10-15 minutes we were looking. I was getting ready to get a lifeguard to see what we needed to do when they walked over to me. My friends daughter was crying and crying but she learned a valuable lesson that I think she won’t do something like that again. It was really scary for that time it took us to find her so I understand the fear your family went through.

Isn’t the mom name something with s ,
Last weekend I went to a waterpark with one of my friends and her kids (15 and 12 the 15 year old had a friend). My friends daughter was crying and crying but she learned a valuable lesson that I think she won’t do something like that again. It was really scary for that time it took us to find her so I understand the fear your family went through.
you should put a some kind of a tracker on her clothes...I think that would help find her faster if that ever happens again.
That’s the plan!
Probably take the service dog. The kids can learn how to be around the dog and it will keep her safe which is important.
I’m so thankful they found her it’s probably time to get my ID which is a QR code which is what I have if something was to happen to me it split onto my Apple Watch you can get various different ones you can also put your phone numbers on them so anybody that is a first responder can notify you immediately my heart dropped and sunk to the floor when I was seeing your video of her missing I can only imagine how heard that would be that happened to my cousin Amber once at Kings Island amusement park down in Cincinnati back before they even had devices to locate somebody and it was packed amusement park with lots of people I believe it was evening or night time my mother and grandmother was scared to death they had to get a hold of somebody in the park a security guard to make a loud announcement she must’ve been no more than four or five could’ve been no more than that that was one and done the last time that ever happened scared my mother to death that she was gone forever needless to say she came back and they never took they eyes off her since tell she was old enough to be just fine
Ya it only takes a minute I went down the beach on my mom and dad and they didn't find me for like 3 hrs but looked like a good time and yes definitely get a air tag but don't get down on ur self no body's fault thanks accidents happen
Since B has hypotonia, would you consider, at this time, using a wheelchair for county fairs or other large events? Just reading the words, I think that type of investment might be worth it; it doesn't have to be an expensive one at all.
have you ever tried putting an air tag on her?
Great vlog as always! How is everyone? ❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹❤🩹How was the fair? When does Braylee start school? Who is Pam to you guys? That was so scary!
