Also another girl sang Burn and was dressed in Eliza's dress and GOD it was accurate!! LIKE HOLY CRAP it looked like they stole the actual dress.

So it’s based off a movie but the same name, written by Adrianne Shelley, and the main character, Jenna, is a Waitress and an amazing pie backer and we find out she’s pregnant with her abusive husband’s child which she doesn’t want but keeps anyway. She’s too scared to leave him but when she goes and sees her gynaecologist they start to develop feelings for each other despite both being married, and they end up having an affair which Jenna finally breaks off when she has the child, and her child shows her a new perspective in life and she leaves her husband because her daughter is the most important thing. The supporting characters all have stories too, but it’s mainly Jenna’s story. It’s romantic and very funny but also quite relevant or relatable with some of the songs, like this one. It’s definitely worth a listen, it’s one of my fave musicals ❤️
