What a fine adaptation! Reminds me of my favorite teacher, Miss Vivian Gunderson. She taught professionally for five decades and then another two decades from the farmhouse she'd grown up in. By the time of her death at age 98, she had taught some of the great- grandchildren of her first students. At her funeral of 500+ people, her pastor/ brother said she had "laid up her treasures in Heaven by investing in people down here on Earth."
May we thank those who have invested themselves in us by living our very best lives each day.
