- On October 1, the Pentagon reported that two U.S. Navy destroyers intercepted Iranian missiles aimed at Israel. Approximately 200 ballistic missiles were launched from Iran in retaliation for Israel's actions against Hezbollah in Lebanon, prompting widespread alarms and sheltering across Israel. The U.S. condemned the attack and called for an end to Iranian aggression.

Iranian missiles flew over US bases in Syria, Iraq, and Jordan and they could not do anything coz those missiles were too fast and even radar detection is useless. Claim that US Navy Destroyers firing interceptors toward those missiles are quite illogical coz those ships are faraway from the missiles route and the speed of interceptors are slower many times compare to Iranian missiles.
