It would be a little different for knitting in the round since you don't turn the work when knitting in the round.
For example when knitting garter stitch flat you knit both the right side and wrong side but when you knit garter in the round you would actually alternate between knitting one row and purling the next since you don't turn the work, thus never working on the wrong side.
