I love the authenticity of your grocery hauls because I try the new items when I get home, too. 😅 I agree with you on ground bison. It's the only ground protein I'll purchase. Tuna (canned) is on my list of foods to try. I am not sure about how to use it besides making tuna salad, so any tips would be awesome (thank you in advance).
I appreciate that a lot! LoL, it’s just so fun trying new foods. Bison is too good! Man, if I could just eat wild meat I so would. So tuna salad is the main way I use it, but I do a few different things with it: 1. sandwiches of course 2. as a dip with crackers or kettle chips 3. on top of a salad But another great option that I actually haven’t made in awhile is shredded and mixed in some mac and cheese. I know that may sound weird but it’s so bomb! I also loooove adding peas to mine. Oh and mixed into an alfredo pasta as well with or without peas. Reminds me of my favorite hamburger helper that my mom used to make. Lmk if you end up trying any of these💕
Taylor farms makes awesome salads. My fave is the sweet kale chopped. Also, I wish my Costco carried the peas. They never have them! Now I agree on the wild caught fish. But what about the tilapia? I’ve always been told that it was crap fish. Farmed in bad conditions and really not healthy.🤷🏼♀️
Sweet kale chopped salad sounds soooo familiar, I'm pretty sure I've had it before and loved it! LoL, I hate when I see things online at Costco and then can't find them at my local one. Sometimes mine has the peas and sometimes they don't. I got lucky this time. You know as far as tilapia goes, I have heard that exact same thing, and it's the reason why I stayed away from it for a very long time. I also got really bad food poisoning from tilapia fish tacos at a restaurant before so I still stay away from it when I eat out. I don't have the box in front of me bc I already ate them all lol, but I wanna say these ones from Costco say that they're line caught. Plus the quality of these truly does seem better than any tilapia I've had in the past. They're thick and flaky and the flavor is just so delicious and satiating.
