I use mixed grease like this for my powertools and other gears lubrication. This better than a grease.
I doubt any local mechanic would do this they don't have the dedication or time, my avl 350 is 17 years old now that's how I know :-) keep up the videos coming

How do I remove old grease from the gearbox? I bought a Machismo A350 last year. And previous owner had put thick grease in the gearbox. Not just that, all the oils were used was for the CI bullet. I changed engine oil to 15w40, and clutch oil to ATF fluid. I can't get the grease out from the gearbox. Is there a trick?
You could try the cake mixer for mixing grease and oil.
If grease is thick then pour diesel and run it on stand by starting bike. It should. Come off. But if it is stubborn then open the covers and manually scoop it out. Using mixer is trivial only if I work on these old machines on daily basis. I almost stopped working on old vehicles. So these videos are just for information purpose. Implementation can be done at your end. I have given idea, further upto the person who is going to work.. Thanks.
In the owner's manual 700gm weight is mentioned. And if you use an oil grease mixture then it should be 1:1 grease 350 gm and oil 20W-50 350 gm.
@@Vinay350Rider that is unless you 100% empty that whole box...otherwise it won't fit...also the ratio is not 1:1 it will become too much thick.i prefer 200gms and left over is oil. Which works perfect.. oozing has to be melted ice cream type..
@MechAutoClinic but bhaiya owner manual mei 1:1 likha hai. Aur waise bi kuch mechanic to sidha grease hi dalte hai aur yeh to phir bi 350 gm oil and 350gm grease mixture hai, sirf grease wale se better hi hai.

Sir as usual your video rich of content ! I tried sea 140 EP with 50 grams grease then my bike gearbox is ultra smooth and slient. For your kind information in Riditch manual it says oil not grease !
The grease fill started only in India not from the beginning.

@@bhaviks5213 you can use but 15/50 is too thick to go if you fail to mix. So you can use 10/30 honda oil

Here technician use local gear oil, it becomes chewing gum paste in winter n to spill it out they use to heat that bottle, i asked him for better option but here mostly they use local gear box oil...

Hello boss why can't we use NLGI - 00
If viscosity is good then why not. I have not tried that so I can't comment on it. NLGI-00 is semi fluid but have not used it. So less knowledge about it. Next time I will check with the brand store if they have it.
One more question - after how many kms engine oil should be repaced after engine (crankcase) rebuild ?
1st after 500km and then later on every after 3000km

I see that NLGI EP 00 Grease is easily available in India as it is used in gearboxes of commercial vehicles like Trucks etc. Isn't that the 00 grade that you are referring to. From what information I could find online, we are supposed to use 00 grade grease topped with SAE50 oil.
not topped with SAE50 oil for sure. Only 00 Grade grease.
@@MechAutoClinic Thank you. I am going to follow your method for now because all the 00 grade grease is available in huge quantities. Lowest I could find was 8kgs which would be too much for anyone who is doing this for just one bike.

better regualr engine oil rather than gear oil since the thickness is extra in 90 than 20/40 or 10/30. since its a mixture so maintaining thickness is also important by keeping reasonable ratio. thanks

Yes it has drain plug. Greas/oil makes it way better smooth
Sir 5 speed gear box me kaun sa oil daalen kya uske liye bhi synthetic oil aata hai. Kis grade ka dalta hai original. 20w50 synthetic engine and clutch side me daal raha hu. Gear box ka bhi badalna hai kis company ka and kaun sa grade ka daalu synthetic me

Whats the oil grade you are using in this
20/40, 20/50, 15/50...any engine oil will do. It's a mediator for making grease thin

Mech Auto Clinic sir 420 kya hai and synthetic oil daale ya mineral. Engine me 20w50 daal raha hu. Motul 7100 full synthetic oil hai to engine and clutch side me same daalen ya alag alag
420ML to 500ML. sythetic bhi chalega ya mineral bhi chalega. koi problem nahi. clutch side main 10W/30 dalna hain aur engine oil apka barabar hain. thanks

Owning a bullet is seriously a pain in @ss. If you buy a new one then one to two years is good but after that your life becomes miserable.

I used liqui moly 15w50 synthase technology engine oil
In ELECTRA 2008 C.I / cast iron / opposite side gear box 4s transmission
In September for winters as my area reaches 10• c cold
So my service is left for 1000km to be done ...
what grade like 20w50 semi synthetic technology to be used again after using above 15w50 synthetic technology... will it HARM the engine going back to semi synthetic & changing COLD 15w grade to 20w ...OR should I stick to 15w50 synthetic technology..
