I had a good feeling about Andrew from the get go, there is such a decency and down to earth vibe about him.
Agree I would TRUST this man as my lawyer, eg take a look at Trumps slime ball lawyer
Same
It's called "Menschlichkeit" - translated (insufficiently) as "a Serious Man". Integrity. Fine-ness. A pursuer of Justice.
Me too. He’s very likeable … windswept and interesting.
Dirty money...all his money is DIRTY.
Andrew Weissman and Neal Katyal are by far and away the two coolest guys on the news. So cool to get a glimpse into his life.
My 2 favorites!
Where’s his wife? Oh yeah …..
@FlyingCircusAct Oh... I get it. You made a homophobic joke. Good stuff man. You're killing it in life...
@@KD-zi2fi Did my comment hit home with you? I couldn’t agree more, six figure take home for the past 12 years …. I feel good!
Thank you, Jen. I, as you, was always fascinated by Andrew's apartment. I only wish he'd taken us on an in-depth tour. Thanks again.

that was pretty cool, Andrew is the bomb
I loved this so much and wished it was longer! Thank you Andrew for your valuable legal expertise and for letting us into your home. ❤
Paid shill comment lol...
@@jimdoe3288 Nope. I'm a real person and this is how I feel.
@@Snippets-of-Mendi I'm sorry then for you feeling this way over edited video clips from a opinionated show.
Oh pulleeeze!
Completely agree with you. I look forward to his commentary all the time. And I wish this was longer.
obsessed! with Andrew. his level speaking tone, intelligence, thoughtful comments and quiet smirk are ALL of my favorite things. of course his apartment is also super cool.
I was so sad when Jen left the White House. It was so refreshing to hear someone who knew the FACTS and was civil to the reporters. So good to see you on MSNBC! 👍 Great interview and AWWWWWWEsome apartment. 😎 I could listen for 7 hours too.
Such a Special Guest is really deserving of more than just 3 minutes and 41 seconds of air time. He so brilliant and so very knowledgeable whenever he appears to give legal insights on MSNBC!
Many thanks for sharing your wonderful home! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!
I have so much respect for Andrew Weissmann! Thank you for this fun interview. What an adorable pup, too! ❤
That was such a treat!!!! I adore Jen and Andrew and this just made me love them more!!! Both so intelligent and good decent human beings!!!

You DO realise that it’s your kind of celebrity fawning that created Donald Trump?
Girl, let the man answer a question!
I love Andrew Weissman.
I can't believe you just did this Jen ! Every time I see Andrew's apt. in the background I think WOW that looks so cool I'd love to really see it So thank you Jen and especially Andrew & Co for allowing us to see this amazing place. My son would be drooling over his camera collection as it far surpasses his own. Just a wonderful place and a fantastic person...and of course his pup💞🦴

I LOVE Andrew's Apt. (and Andrew) And that he does his segments from all sorts of different angles and from different rooms so we can see his beautiful space! Thanks for sharing Andrew! As an aside, a positive side effect of the pandemic has been being able to see everyone's beautiful spaces as interviews switched to being done from home. AND their cats causing mayhem in the background, or doggos stealing the show!
I have wished someone would do a segment about different backdrops for various interviews on tv during Covid. I like Andrew's place. Lots of fun stuff. He even has a Kodak Instamatic camera, just like mine!
We have gained a few gifts from the pandemic and I'm grateful for all of them.
Thanks Jen and Andrew and Ennis! Really enjoyed this . A fan from Canada.
wow your really hot how did i miss you??? MM
I love Andrew Weissmann and so respect him and his ability to explain succinctly all that is happening in relation to law in America.
Great piece with two of my favorite TV personalities over the past few years. You're both exceedingly smart, well informed and likable!

I love Andrew Weissmann!! I feel well educated and informed when I listen to him, and a several other legal analysts. Thank Jen Psaki & MSNBC.
I love watching Andrew Weissmann. And what a fantastic apartment!
I love Andrew Weissmann ❤
You love and hate who they say. They control your mind. Mental slavery
How could anyone not?
THE most attractive thing about a person is intelligence and a those who have a great grasp of whatever they are speaking about. He seems to be a humble and down to earth sort and l love his New York accent!
So much respect for this Man!
Beautiful home is an understatement. Anyone that knows NYC real estate was staring in shock at that apartment.
I’ve been watching a show on Netflix about brokers in New York and agree with you completely. Say around 20 million?
It's probably valued in the Millions. If it was a Trump property he would have it valued in the Billions... oops did I just say that out loud?
@@lefty2460 I wouldn't even hazard a guess. I've never seen ceilings that high in NYC.
So true, the sheer size is NYC is just incredible!
Its a lift apartment y'all! The ceilings are supposed to be super high. He probs bought the place in the 90's early 2000s...in Manhat...and it would've been a good 2 million then. All over Brooklyn and Manhattan, there are lofts to buy and rent. Loft life is very New York. He has an in house elevator- THAT is the fancy part to me. He's got such excellent taste.
Beautiful apartment! Thank you, Andrew, for inviting Jen and all of us inside! Finally, an up close look at 'those stairs!' He would love my displayed collection of my Dad's camera equipment, and mine. And, I'm older than you, Andrew! Jen rocks! Wait, he is older than me! I'm shocked! He looks great!😂
The staircase has driven me nuts, the aesthetics have taken my breath away, and of course the legal analysis always is spot on. Thank you for this.
Over "x" number of steps, the city's building & safety department requires a handrail at a specific distance and parallel angle above the slope of the stairs. Why didn't Jen ask Andrew how he got the city to grant him a variance on such a safety-related code section? And if there was no permit (and permit fee!) was the work done with a "wink-and-nudge" by someone WITHOUT a contractor's license?? How many "runs" did the stairs have: Over 'two tiers'?? And all the cameras: Why was he so circumspect about the cameras? Hey, Andrew, you wouldn't be into...."candid" photography, EY?! Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, EY??! SAAAY NO MORE!!
I’ve been wondering what his apartment really looks like.
Thank you for a beautiful look at this brilliant man on a personal level.
What fun! We all love Andrew.
Thank you to Andrew Weissmann for his huge generosity in law and style
Wonderful to see Jen Psaki has her own show. Way to go. Great respect for Andrew Weissmann
I’ve always admired his interior decor… even his other spaces are really charming.
Loved this! Nice guy, nice dog, nice apartment!
Thank you for doing this. TFG has me tuned in to all the legal wranglings these days and I definitely feel like I'm getting to know people like Mr. Weissman. Thank you for sharing his human side. :)
It took me way too long & multiple google searches to figure out what "TFG" means😂.LoL...
I can't believe I've never run across it before!!
I appreciate Mr. Weissmann's insights; illuminating, priceless in these difficult times.
I loved that interview! I remember on the day of indictment seeing Andrew on all the shows on MSNBC all the way to the 11th Hour and thinking, will that poor guy ever get to rest, sleep?? He is the best!!
I love love that man thank you for a look inside real life for those we faithfully watch💓
Andrew is one of the most interesting contributors on MSNBC, can please post a longer version of this interview? I would love to see what didn't make air for the show.
God, that apartment. This is New York. Imagine what that cost. His style is so cool. I always liked Andrew and his legal analysis.
I really liked this segment; seeing the human/personal side of the MSNBC contributing analysts is really interesting.
It’s wonderful to get to know these experts as people as well as professionals. Andrew Weismann has an amazing apartment-if I had a place like that I’d never go outdoors again. He was able to find and afford a place like that IN NEW YORK??? That is akin to witchcraft. And that collection of cameras is fantastic.
Thank you for this humanizing story, Jen Psaki. Please do more.🙏
He's an Ivy League educated lawyer who worked in the federal government.
I don't think any of those would have trouble affording nice places anywhere.
I bet he's owned this place for many years - before it became outgrateous. Tho NYC has always been high $$$.
@@KleWdSide He's a partner at some law firm or was for a while... partners make 1M+ a year in many of these firms.
I think the "afford" part is a given.........
If you're an attorney at the top of your game, you can transition back and forth between lucrative private practice, and positions in government.
Weissmann is a talented, hard working individual, and I cannot think of anyone more deserving of success.
What a great interview. It's is so nice to see Andrew in his natural environment.
I would totally like to be his friend. 😁
He’s so authentic, smart and a person with integrity.
Great interview - loved it. Mr. Weissman is very good at explaining things so people can understand.
Thanks to the three of you for such a lovely segment, Having followed Andrew for so many years, it is a pleasure to spend some time with him this way.
Nice to see the 'Human Side'.
People who love dogs are the best in world.
Thank YOU Andrew Weissmann;
I eagerly look forward to watching any comments or analysis by Andrew Weissmann because he is so erudite and his explanations so clear and pretty easy to understand overall. Have him on more often. Love his apartment, dog and his espresso machine! Thanks for the little view into his personal life.
From a lawyer in the Law for fifty
years, I can say he is one smart and very learned gentleman. I always
listen very closely and gain insight . Retired now, I listen
to him just about everyday,
particularly with Nicole
Wallace.
He would be a very good AG selection.
I thank him for sharing his expertise.
Liked seeing the personal side of Professor Weissmann. They seemed to have a great rapport. It did seem though that Jen often interrupted him or cut off his answers unless that was just the editing. Would have liked to hear more of him & his answers.
Caffeinated conversation. Been there. ☕️
How did I miss this show Jen??? Thank you soo much for doing this piece. ❤ Love you both and every time Andrew comes on, I'm all ears. I swear everyone wants him on their show because he's absolutely 🎉 brilliant 👏.
Thank you for showing his whole apartment. I KNEW it was epic just from the few peeks on MSNBC. 😮
this was a great interview Jen ! very fun. thank you !
Love this! So nice to see both of you in a “relaxed” mode (while being filmed for television) and WONDROUS to see even a little of where it is that we usually see Andrew.
I kinda felt like the cameraman didn't get the memo! Apartment tour - I am dying to get a good look at that kitchen, but instead I got a close up of Andrew making coffee. Boo-hoo! Love you both.
Andrew what a special treat to see your apartment. Your collections and swag are quite nicely displayed throughout, thanks Jen for the article.
Both of them are 'Class Acts'
I loved seeing this glimpse into Andrew Weismann's life! Cheers.
Andrew us so smart! He deserves a great home!❤
Jen should have let Andrew speak more in answering her questions instead of interrupting him. However, more importantly, I always appreciate his analysis of current legal issues, re: President-X.
Caffeine banter. I tend to have the same issue...but I'm getting better! Lol
Love you both! Thank you for helping us navigate these perilous times.
I love him. He always makes the most sense. Plus that’s some place & a cappuccino yum. ❤
Love Andrew and his apartment! Thank you for this behind the scenes…
We still haven't seen anyone actually go up those steps.
😀😀😀
They're made to say 'Keep Out".
I love watching Jen Psaki on the news now✨
Thank you for your brilliant legal insight over the years, Andrew. Love the apartment. Always loved your staircase and that fabulous hanging mesh lamp. Oh, and can you get Mueller to release the UNREDACTED version of the Mueller report??
That was great to see Andrew's apartment. From the very first time I saw those stairs, I worried about it not having a bannister on the other side. What if he falls?!? That's just me being worried, as I did fall down the stairs once. Not that the bannister saved me, LOL. Love Andrew's expertise!
I wish she would stop interrupting him.
Jen exudes competency and class !!!! So refreshing !!!!
Okay, Jen Psaki, you scored big for me with this interview. Andrew Weissmann's clarity of thought is the reason I follow him. His apartment was always a curiousity for me - love it! However, Innis tipped the scale!
i must confess, i sometimes have to play and replay Andrew Weissman's segments over and over because i get distracted by his amazing abode. so much makes me curious in his decor. thank you Jen for your distraction as well. I adore, admire and respect these two wonderful people. cute little yappy dog too.🙂
I've often wondered about those steps! Would love to have Andrew as a neighbor! Thanks for the little bit of insight.
I have wished for this every time I see him on - of course it was too short. We want the music, the books, the wine or no wine- oh, Andrew
If I see Andrew W. In a headline, I watch the UA-cam! Excellent analyses!
Weissman could barely get a word in to answer a question. He is a fascinating man and needs a more extended interview. I wanted to see more of Andrew Weissman’s fascinating home and hear more of what he has to say about all the special collections.
I felt the "rushed" feeling of the piece too - I think it part it was _very_ tightly edited down in post-production because while they wanted to show a lot of stuff, they did not allocate a lot of time for it. The bare minimum for something like this really ought to be 20 minutes - it was presented in 4 minutes.
I wish she would let him talk and finish a question.
Ironic that this past week I was trying to figure out those stairs and the layout of the room. And here was a visit to the apartment. Thank you Andrew and thank you especially to Innis (sp?) the dog. He was the best.
Mr Weisman is the bomb!! I love his brilliant mind and never ending desire to teach the law.
Interesting, but I never noticed anything in his home. wow. In person interviews are always better. Great job, Jenn
This was so low-key and relaxed, a nice change from the typical nervous energy of the news. My only criticism is I wish it were longer.
What a great idea and segment ... Just like Claire McCaskill 's house .. just LOVED this ..can we do Neal Katyall's office next ...
Ikr? Every time Claire is interviewed I have to go eat something. I LOVE her coffee/breakfast nook!
And YES to Neal's office!
Andrew Weissman's home is breathtakingly beautiful! I think, if I ever had the privilege of meeting him, I would pick his brain on just his eclectic taste alone♥️♥️♥️
I wish you would visit all of the experts who we see on MSNBC! I would love to see Michael Beschloss’s home, it looks like a museum! And Rachel Maddow- I would love to see her home ! Thanks for sharing. I work mostly remotely now, but sometimes I do come into the city and my office is very close to where Andrew and you were walking his pup!
Would have been a better interview if Jen would let Andrew answer a question before asking another qs.
What a refreshing change from politics, shootings, tornadoes... Sometimes you just need a break. Beautiful apartment!
Marjorie Laser Beam's house is probably a cross between a Q-anon hoarder's garage, a trailer park BDSM exhibit, and the first level of the DOOM video game. 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Andrew Weissmann is the best legal analyst I have ever listened to on any show. MSNBC is very fortunate to have him.
I've always been curious about the cast iron tractor seat on the wall -- c'mon, Jen, see if you can get the story behind that artifact!
Have you been curious about the nazis Biden is funding with our tax dollars in Ukraine?
Thank you both. Great snippet. 🎉
I'm always looking over the shoulder's of the people being interviewed on TV in their homes or offices, thanks Jan for taking us behind the scenes!!! LOL LOL
I always guessed he was in Northern New Mexico , with the Vigas and lofty ceilings .
Jen is gorgeous as usual .
*_It is good to see the 'Human Side' of news contributors..._*
In this fast paced world today, it's easy to forget 'Where' we get our news. We get it from people who are Human just like us. They are not better, smarter, or superior in any way. They do know news and current events. They work hard to gather information from many sources before making decisions on what to convey to us.
Most reporters, journalists, and contributors try their best to remain non-biased. They strive to tell the truth, regardless if it is opposite of what they think about the issue. Truth is the ruler to gauge the 5 W's in news stories.
One channel, does just the opposite. I won't name it but they are 'Faux' News (fake).*_
I am drooling over the artwork.
Your living, when the elevator opens directly into your apt. No running down the hall, cause you gotta pee!
I'm so happy to see them chit-chatting - and that wonderful goofy dog - but when do we get to see the APARTMENT? I need the full tour!!!!
I love your show Miss Psaki!
I love your class, and I love what you do!
ditto
Simp
Jen….tip, quit interrupting ☺️
These used to be called "human interest" stories; something poorly served by today's media.
I should have known that there would be more folks interested in Andrew Weissmann's amazing backgrounds -- he has the best mise en scene! Like the amazing view down the hall with the Danish modern suspended shelf bar and glassware, with just a bit of the staircase over Andrew's shoulder as he explains the wacky law things
Great interview with Andrew!! Very hip apartment!! ❤
I see Andrew is a camera collector and bet he would enjoy a few of my old school cameras I have from back in the 40's & 50's, with the leather cases attached to them. Bell & Howell were amazing cameras back in the day, especially the ones that were placed on old school reels that you put on a projector, then project it on a metal pop-up screen. We have many reels of film of us kids going to Disneyland & our swim events at swim meets in the 70's.
Gorgeous place.
Nice. Thank you!
I love Andrew and enjoyed meeting Innes.❤️ Thanks, Jen.
Whenever Mr Weissmann and Mr Katyal appear on TV I always watch/listen to what they have to say. Two of the smartest lawyers ever. Always on point.
I have always wanted to see Andrews Apartment, and just asked a couple weeks ago for a tour, so thank you Jen and Andrew! Beautiful. 100% Class.
I love 💕 Andrew ⚖️📜📚!
I love Andrew Weissmann. His apartment is so interesting too.
MSNBC in my opinion has the strongest lineup and Jen is a great addition. Andrew is a real charmer. He's got Nicole Wallace eating out of his hand too.
