Transmite alegria contagiosa !!!
my favourite scene in the movie...really beautiful high notes
One can say almost too many beautiful notes.
I have a recording of the whole opera. Have you listened to it? There's a lot of good music in it.
u can do this high notes with me in bed
I would like to watch the full opera
Gem Pony Ariana grande is quaking
This is such a wonderful scene.I feel as though we have a window into the times that the film recreates so meticulously. Tom Hulce looks like he's having the time of his life and really living the music and his enthusiasm is infectious so even if you have never bothered with opera before like myself you become fascinated and in love with it anyway. I also think Christine Ebersole looks bloody great.

Mozart singing his opera along with the performers is just wonderful. He's like a child playing with his new toys on Christmas morning. Compare this with his emotional pain later in the film as he conducts Don Giovanni.

Salieri's description of Caterina Cavalieri
as a "greedy songbird" is a priceless image! 🐦
UNA PELICULA SUBLIME MAJESTUOSA IMPRESIONANTE ... SALLIERI NO LO ODIABA LO ADMIRABA
Es alrevez Mozart abmiraba a salieri
no
Opera singer of Amadeus is really awesome
Amadeus was a DELIGHTFUL movie!!! Thank you thank you thank you!
RIP Mozart and Basha Selim
Keyser Soze and marie antoinette and my brother 😂😂
nobody believes me, but tom hulce as mozart was my sexual awakening. "Hurt me, break me, kill me." and his wild passion. _jesus._
del'illusion 😂😂😂😂😂 i agree
I believe you.
Same here!!!
One of the best movies ever made.
Barry Sabahat where can I listen to the full version of that song from the Opera
It's called Marten aller Arten, there are many versions floating around on the internet. I recommend Beverly Sills.
The absolute best.
I really love the first song; `martern aller arten'
La mejor pelicula de todos los tiempos !!
AS MUCH as I LOVE Don Giovanni... Abduction... is my favorite Mozart Opera....
Yo también pero tengo familia que escucha...
:/
Mozart es eterno❤
he's jus jealous...she's got the best voice I've ever heard.....
Hermosa!!!
Bravo,bravo, mil veces bravo!!!
"the creature"
lol
Who does this actual singing? The scales are unbelievable.
Inagreditavel
It does not have too many notes.
Tom Hulce es Mozart!!❤❤
My favorite
So much for giving your chastity
Gran musico
Poco aplicado
thats best I ever seen
las expresiones de salieri lol
wow
Who is actually singing this
From what I've been able to find it appears to be Irish Soprano Suzanne Murphy.
CRW truly amazing voice
Está cantando en inglés????😮😮😮
Bach. Nuff said
0:32 Ariana Grande: *quaking*
so many notes
Quién es la cantante?/Who is the singer?
Felicity Lott
Veronica C. really?! wow!!! she's awesome!!! :O
Veronica C. thanks for answer!!! :)
Robert Alexis Gómez Rojas
She also sings the Mass in C Minor when Constanze took his music to Salieri and was looking through his music and also the soprano in the Marriage of Figaro. You are welcome.
It's the Irish soprano Suzanne Murphy who provided the voice for Cavalieri, singing this and the piece from Axur. Lott sings the Mass and the Countess. The end credits of the film list the singers.
Too many notes
The funny thing that every aria in this opera is wonderful on its own
But when i saw it as a whole it was literally TOO much for the ear like it really has too many notes 😂
I'm not hating on mozart the Opera is wonderful but just saying
why anubis?
Amadeus because mozart sold his soul 😨😨😨🤣🤣🤣
one of the best quotes:
the creature
How does one say it....
It seemed to just have too many notes?
just here and there
The best part
Solo las necesarias
Turkish Finale:
Pasha Selim, forever, forever!
ever, ever, ever!
Honour to his regal name!
Honour to his regal name!
May his noble brow emblazon
Glory, fortune, joy and fame!
Glory, fortune, joy and fame!
Pasha Selim, May he live forever!
Honour to his regal name
Honour to his regal name!
May his noble brow emblazon
Glory, fortune, joy and fame!
Glory, fortune, joy and fame!
Pasha Selim, May he live forever!
Honour to his regal name!
Honour to his regal name!
Pasha Selim, forever, forever!
ever, ever, ever!

Miguel Gonzalez
The first two lines are:
Pasha Selim, may he live forever, forever
May he live forever, honor to his regal name.
Miguel Gonzalez 8
Shit now I’ll never unhear that
Original is in German if you really want to get it right ;)
1:13 Hurt me, break me, kill me...WUT
You have to know the context. Constanze, in the opera, has been threatened by the Pasha with torture if she doesn't give in to his advances; she, staunchly in love with Belmonte, responds with this defiant flurry of coloratura, "Martern aller Arten." listen to the whole aria, it's even more epic than the Queen of the Night.
at last, at last I shall be freed by death....
Love it! So scandalous..
Sounds like the lyrics to an edgy popular alternative grunge rock band
It's still not in English BTW. The power of the music and her singing makes you understand. Mozart was such a genius.
There she was....There she stood....Showing off like a greedy songbird....Ja, ja!! Marvellous!!
Herbolario Kobold 😂
funny
This is one of my favorite opera scenes from the movie ^^ also, geez! The audience was only too happy to leave lol.
Brenecia Smith they had no taste
They're not leaving, they're all rushing to see Mozart. Faster they get there, the closer to the front they'll be!
I live for the hurt me break me kill me part
Bach-Mozart-Beethoven
@@thegame6141me hizo el día tu comentario😂😂😂😂
Hurt me 💙 Break me 💙 Kill me 💙
'The Abduction of the Seraglio', Mozart's Purple Rain - listen to the music, check the dates.
INCREDIBLE WHAT MOZART DID WITH SIMPLE SCALES AND ARPEGIOS, AS SIMPLE AS IT APPEARS
I blast this shit on I-95 all the time on open stretches.
I don't know who the woman is who plays Constanze, but she can belt out that music beautifully.
There's a curiosity about this particular scene, where constanze is singing marten aller arten: A little fire started in one of the curtains' stage, caused by a candle that touched in the tissue and started burning, but they couldn't stop filming so they carry on. It shows us how professional they were: even with a fire they carried on, and the most important, the scene was perfect. Just miraculous.
3:25
The perfect meme with the phrase: “Well; there it is”
“The Creature!” 😆😆😆😂😂
It's crazy
.It's surprise !!
Its WONDERFULL !!!!
one of my TEN movies
on the last II half of XX century.
Movie is FANTASTIC and timeless
i love salieri's facial expression at 3:25, hahahaa LOL !!!

...only talent interests a woman of taste...
BEETHOVEN ESCRIBIÓ
LA MÚSICA DEL "HOMBRE PARA DIOS": ....
MOZART; ESCRIBIÓ LA MÚSICA DE
"DIOS ...
The Janissaries (Turkish military) were made up of POW's and slaves and were the first corps to use firearms and uniforms. Much of their music has been lost, but it was marching music and it consisted of loud drums, cymbals, wind instruments, and bells. Not only did Mozart create a Turkish opera in German, he also incorporated the original sounds of the Janissaries. I don't know of any other composers that have done that, he was way ahead of his time. Also, it was choreographed by Twyla Tharpe whom used dance moves from the 1700's. If you listen to the German version, it's quite different.
Veronica C. true most of them lost but not all, search for "mehteran" and mehter marches if you are interested.
But his Majesty said "no balleto in his opera". 😮
Martern aller Arten
My fave opera
One of my favorite movies!
3:21 yo en el trabajo escuchando esto
May Mozart's soul in the afterworld live in Fortune, Joy, glory and fame forever. Thank you God or Allah to give Mozart as a present to the mankind.
So as Salleri
Bektas Ince no allah, we dont want any terrorists around savi
Timeless. Classic. Up there with gone with the wind and wizard of oz..
That glorious voice
3:47 it's curious. until the emperor does not stand up to applaud, the others do not get up Lol
The first time I discovered Mozart it was love at first sight.Der Zauberfloete” is my favorite opera, although I like all of them. I also love his concert for Harp and Flute, it’s a jewel as well as his piano concerts! I can’t wait to go back to Salzburg to visit the house where he was born!
And this very segment - starting at .33 - isn't on the soundtrack :-(
