George Panda
South Africa was colonized by the British. A lot of our schools, holidays, churches are influenced by them. That’s why a lot of South Africans that went to English schools sound this way. Know our history before making such assumptions.
George Panda ??? Most of Africa and the African diaspora speak with English, French, etc accents because we were colonized. It’s not fake, it’s unfortunate history.

Not in Africa (continent), maybe in South Africa (country) she is famous and known, but not in most African countries.
@@semha6348 She IS well-known in most African countries. I don't know which Africa you are from. Even YOU know her.
@Pablo Zane, "Even YOU know her". I don't know her. It's the first time that I hear about her. And no, Africa has 54 countries. I doubt that she is know in the majorities of African countries. Please stop to make Africa a country or a village. Not every famous African celebrity who made it in his/her own country is automatically famous in other African countries.
@@semha6348 I'm not South African but she's pretty famous in most Bantu majority countries like botswana, Kenya, Rwanda, SA etc so maybe she's not famous in your country but she's well known in most of Africa which happens to be Bantu
@11lulama, don't matter in which countries that you know she is famous or not, she is not that famous in most African countries. What's wrong with you guys? Why is it that you think you can make every unknown African celebrity famous in most African countries? When we say famous in most African countries, then it has to be like, e.g. Nelson Mandela or famous like some soccer player (Eto, Drogba, etc.). Compare it to those really famous African personalities/celebrities, this singer is not famous. Not in North Africa, not in many other East African countries, maybe famous in those that you mentioned but I doubt that she is their really really famous Not famous in some West African countries (except maybe Nigeria, etc.). Sure, she is famous in Soouth Africa and neighboring countries, but she is not that famous in most African countries. She is not an African export. The same with Trevor Noah. He became famous through his show in the US and wasn't already famous in most African countries. He was famous in South Africa. There are many African singers, etc. who are famous in their own respective country and some also famous in neighboring countries, but this doesn't mean that they are famous on the African continent. Some of you guys want to exaggerate but this doesn't make an unknown person famous.

Never heard of her, but she definitely gained a new follower. I thought it was funny that she compared Black Americans to Nigerians because they would truly have some words for her lol. The reason they show black Americans that Africa is a wasteland is because they don’t want us to go back to our motherland, where they came and took all of our natural resources. The reason they show slavery movies here in America because they want to show us our greatness and what we built here in America.
