In Europe we miss that segment you just introduced. Simple , plastic all around which is very easy to clean and it has even a clean cut feeling. And moreover simple but good transmission.
So when I first saw the thumbnail I thought it was the rebadged South African version of the Geely Emgrand, then I saw the front and learned more about the car and that is definately not the case. That aside compared to the Dzire top spec for top spec, I would choose the Dzire over this. The Dzire might have a smaller engine when compared to this but you get better fuel economy and the power and torque compared to the Saga isnt epic, its just 7nm more of torque 9kw more which you really cant feel unless you have a very sensitive backside. The other major difference is the transmission, you get a 5 speed vs a 4 speed in the Saga, yes its a AMT but Suzuki makes the best in the buisiness and they are fun to drive especially in manual mode, plus the shifter has the + and - in the correct locations. Finally the other big difference is the price, the Saga is 5k more expensive and you dont get much more for your money except a slightly larger boot.
I saw the brand at the motoring festival at Kayalami raceway and was disappointed to see the poor fit and finish of the body parts. There was a panel gap - unevenness - clearly noticeable on all the cars on exhibit. Very disappointing.
I'm from Malaysia & currently driving a Saga.. milage clocking 140000km & it's running perfectly 😀
Alan, this is the Standard automatic. The Premium automatic has two -tone alloy wheels, a reverse camera and a multifunction steering wheel.
I stand corrected, I went by the info I was given when I got the car

How is this car brand? Does it still work well after 50000 or 100000km
Nice one!
Thank you! Cheers!
Is this car good? I know you say worth reviewing? I see 2023 model going for 165k
