Truly in everyway, Great Storytelling, I find the different voices he uses very entertaining and the emotion in his voice is truly amazing, I hope he gets the recogniition he deserves, true quality work.
My first series and my terrible early writing style somehow still seems to sound great when read by you V, my favourite narrator by a country mile, hopefully I will have more long stories coming soon bro!

Omg, that feeling of FINALLY totally relaxing and unconsciousness coming over you, you're certain of sleep, has got to be like being hooked on drugs for an insomniac. When you only sleep a few hours at a time, when you wake up and the first thing you think about is when can you take a nap. No amount of caffeine helps with this, it actually makes me more irritable. Most meds to help with insomnia only take you just below the surface- not real sleep. Exhaustion wears you down, you can't think, you don't care, you don't have much of a life at all. So I can totally relate to this story. But you certainly do help ❤ Thank you
as an insomniac i have to say, i wouldnt take the deal but.. i understand.. remember when I had the first good night sleep of my life "so this is how it is supposed to feel?" been chasing that rest ever since
@@1995pieter it's easy to say you wouldn't take it, but the Ancient slipped the narrator a mickey before making the offer. Normally the narrator would wake up before 2am, 1:51 most nights of the story I think. Then waking up healed. And all the various trauma he had experienced! The narrator had no chance. I doubt I would have either at that point.
I think only another insomniac can really emphasize with what an insomniac goes through. I've been with the same person for around 15 years, married for 12, and he still thinks I just don't try hard enough to go to sleep

I truly believe that his channel should have so so SO many more followers. I happened to come across this channel a little over a month ago and absolutely fell in love. Same with mine. The only good thing about it and I tell others who lost their parents to. At least it didn’t happen the other way. Think of their pain if they were to lose their child. I’m only 36 but I already have for young children and I can’t even imagine the pain if I were to ever lose one.

There are stories I listen to that are similar to this but honestly, he is so good at it, I feel that sleeping and not listening to every word would be a complete waste, I feel like I have to listen. There are other channels that I can just let play in the background when sleeping and not feel bad but doing that with this content almost seems wrong imo, haha.

My sleep issues was the nail in the coffin of my divorce to come. One incident he still brings up to this day. More than 10yrs after divorce. Mind you, I don’t remember what happens while sleep walking. I can sometimes get some snapshots of this or that when people tell me what happened. The incident for him that he just won’t let go of was when I beat him up while sleep walking. I even called 911. I thought I was being held hostage. He had been taught how to deal with me while sleep walking and we were at my mom’s. She was able to keep police away but he thinks I shouldn’t have been attacking him AND that my mom should’ve stepped in. She tried to talk to me AND she locked up the house so I couldn’t leave but she kept telling him to quit grabbing me while I was trying to leave. Let me fight with the door bc I can’t get out. If you’re able to know what I’m dreaming then use it to get me to do or stop doing whatever. Every time my mom would get me calmed and ready to give in, he would try to push or pull me from the door which triggered my fight in flight, fight, or freeze dangerous sitch
Whoa! That call... so far this story is way too close to home. Luckily I knew my daughter and the morning baby sitter had fallen asleep. I HOPED IT! I kinda knew it but still that one tiny chance that it could be something else made that drive the longest, the scariest 15min drive of my life!
