Glad you enjoyed the courgettes, they looked absolutely delicious and I loved seeing you pick things from your garden for lunch :) intrigued to see how that roof works and looking forward to Luke having an outdoor kitchen :D
Peppa is so fortunate to have such caring, intuitive people caring for her. She looks so much happier without those boisterous youngsters.😊 The burlap roof seems to be the perfect solution for the outdoor kitchen. Clever Luke!
As inventive as Luke is, he should think about inventing something he could sell and get profit from. No pressure on him, he just comes up with so many ideas. Looks like he has a genius idea for the outdoor kitchen roof, Sure hope it works out, Also glad Peppa is better, we all need a change too. The lunch looked so delicious, Waiting to see you next week.
I am so encouraged by your burlap/cement experiments and how you are continuing onward and upward with challenges of completing the outdoor kitchen. Good on you.
Sarah, at the beginning of the todays video I was scared to death thinking that cute Peppa could be ill seriously ... Thank heavens she is fine now. What a relief! ------- Can't wait to see the new rain proofed roof on your outdoor kitchen, but I'm afraid that it will be pretty tricky to install it, Luke. Good luck and stay safe! Hope Peppa perks up soon
I wish you would explain how you profit from raising pigs. With chickens you get eggs and expect the vet and feed costs are less than the cost of eggs. Do you sell the piglets or eat the pigs or chickens?
We got the pigs so we can try a technique called Gleying. It is a natural way to seal ponds with pigs. Apparently can also be done with ducks too but the process is slower. Peppa and her babies have been in that enclosure for 5 months now and this is the first year in six years that it didn't go completely dry in June. There isn't much water now, just 3 or 4 little puddles really but definitely kind of working. It should take a year to two if you have 4 full grown pigs ... We will see. Having Peppa get pregnant by the wild boar wasn't planned so we are selling them. Then Alfie , Eddie and Peppa can move there.
