Here are some team/role comp points: 1. You only need two tanks/bruisers if they got an assassin hero(like Panther or Iron Fist) or if your defending. 2. You should run 2 supports but if you run 1 it should always be a heal main like Adam Warlock or Mantis. Only run characters like Rocket, Shark, or Loki if you 3 sup. Just any sup that isn't all about healing. 3. 4 duelist gets smashed into the dirt by a Thor-Cap-Iron Fist-Helen-Loki-Warlock team comp or any hyper aggressive 2-2-2 role comp. 4. 3 duelist is beaten the same way as 4 duelist except if you have a good tank or healer, which ever role you have 1 of, you will have a shot. 5. Keep in mind that every team and role comp is better when you react to what your opponents are playing. Just make sure that you are changing the comp before the last minute of the game/round and when you don't have an ult up or near up. 6. Never only play one character and have at least one character that you are good at for each role. You'll never rank up if you can't fill. If you need another character, practice the character. You will lose majority of your games if you can only play a handful.
So what about our Spider-Mans/Iron Mans/Iron Fists/Winter Soldiers/The Punishers/Psylockes/Scarlet Witches/Black Widows/Moon Knights that cant get kills or do very little damage or die more than everybody else but refuse to swap in Comp?
@@ethanwalaska3887 These guys get on both teams, they just get picked by you and your team before their performance becomes noticeable. Tbf some people can perform well under the influence like a Viking brawler, but it's rare, and some will use that idea to excuse things like drunk driving. Better at least that they're playing a video game and losing you 25 rank points and not out causing someone to lose their son or daughter by being on the road.
Maybe its a bad habit i need to break, but i always get discouraged whenever I queue up and no one is playing support and feel as if we automatically lost. Since I main Wolverine, it prevents me from pushing hard hitting tanks that are backed up by someone like Mantis or Jeff (I solo queue btw).
Is there is a stable way to use team vc while playing in duo? Sometimes i speak but duo doesn't hear anything in ingame vc, so does the team. With my duo we are on discord , but i'd like to give team info as well. I hold ` to speak, mb i should switch channels somewhere? 🤔
In my experience, the matchmaking seems to be trying to keep W/L ratio nearly even, and if yours is above 50-60%, you’re ranked or cracked enough to carry. Some matches you can win with 10 kills highest across the team. Others you’ll lose and have like 35 kills. I swear the game is trying to queue to keep balanced
In bronze league many players are still learning fundamental game mechanics. Having fat conversations over voice chat isn't yet the main priority like in diamond
when u mentioned finding the right duo buddies at the end, i was in the middle of a game with a really annoying toxic e-girl that wouldn't shut up on comms she started complaining right off the bat simply cuz nobody else was talking on mic, and we were winning after round 1 a few of us started telling her to just zip it cuz her speaking at all was getting in the way, and she seems to believe any comms is better than silence and in this instance her input was absolutely a hindrance lol like legit she'd rush in get blasted to 10% and start screaming for heals as if we weren't already aware and chasing her down to get her healed up
Honestly I’ve tried to not “fill out” the roles but anytime I do I get yelled at by my teammates. Guys, we are all nerds playing a game for nerds, just have fun. Don’t get mad at people even if they are underperforming, they just don’t play as much or it’s not their day. Stay wholesome❤
For warlock mains, i was playing a cloak and dagger main and with a decent dps backing me up we can easily track your spirit to wherever you think youre safe to rez ive gotten so many assists and kills on warlock ult use its not even funny back up behind your team or in youre spawn so you don't die immediately and just feed the team twice. Warlock ult can be busted when youre warlock knows where to put his ukt so that it doesn't lead to feeding the team twice ive seen it happen so many times, not too mention being a c&d main myself i find it really easy to pick off support and dps mains with a flank i had a whole penta consistently by flanking using my blind and damage increaser to easily get a penta kill i had their whole team with the help of an opportunistic hawkeye pennis and jeffs are the bane if my existence but with a bit of clever maneuvering and useing my cloak invis and untargetable skill to get away i can usually get back to a health pack. Also iron man and spiderman are super easy picks for feeding my ult since daggers auto has really good range and is hit scan so as long as their healers aren't paying attention i can easily ko yall from cover so unless you have cracked healers dont play those characters venom is a different stiry ive killed them before but only when they don't swing out of didge immediately and recover their cds
I agree so hard with you. I have a friend who always cries if he's the only healer and it's so annoying! If you're a good enough healer 1 IS enough and you can win every time as long as you have at least 1 tank and 1 healer and your dps aren't bleeding in like a bunch of kids at lunch😅
If you're not great at DPS play Scarlett witch in a pinch, Cloak and Dagger for support, and Groot or Venom for tank. All these characters are easy enough to half ass play and still be useful. Some of them you don't even need to aim 😅
I am an Adam Warlock main but u can flex into captain America but the problem is I don't play cap like you should, I play him as a flanker. His damage is meh but he has so much sticking power that most long range DPS can't get away from him and dont have the health to survive and need to move forward into their team meaning my team can have better access to them
Ok, but one thing I saw in your chat during your King of the Hill explanation: "No one named AHMED is french". Whoever that was hasn't been to France or doesn't know France at all it seems 😆 ANYWAYS AWESOME VIDEO THANK YOU (Imma need more Winter Soldier tips tho, ngl, still gotta watch the advanced guide)
ive been steadily climbing by learning a character of each class. I dont think 2 2 2 is the ideal comp but as long as we have 1 of each class then the game is always winnable. My only issue is im not the best at shooters so I need to work on my aim and mechanics to climb even higher
I've had so much success starting off on venom and going spiderman when I see my dps getting no kills. I just get more value out of holding their backline or even getting a pick than jumping in off cooldown
1:00 I believe in early stages of playing 2 healers are needed cause most people a just "ok" at healing the team 11:30 I wish we had audio chat cause I constantly yell stop going that way, come flank with me
I’m a dps main and I’m actually fairly decent at it. I understand not swapping to get better at certain characters, but literally every comp game I get into has 3 ppl insta lock dps. I’m not gonna lock in a 4th so I go heals or tank. Nonetheless those 3 dps proceed to absolutely feed their brains out and do nothing for the team. I’ve been hard stuck plat since comp came out, at least 70% of my losses has been to being matched with teammates that have 0 game sense or just feed all game and blame heals or tanks even though they’ve been trying to 1v6 all game. Any tips on how to escape elo hell and avoid horrendous match making?
4:08 maybe you should’ve changed to tank instead? If you know he was bad at tank and would’ve been better off as staying dps you could’ve changed? Sure you were “popping” off on dps but that doesn’t matter if y’all lose 🤦♂️
Are there any good healers besides Cloak and Dagger? I feel like she's the only character that can actually fully heal the team and kick ass damage wise.
i main psylocke and there was a cracked duo hawkeye and widow on another team, i was focusing healers and we lost one round coz all my teammates kept dying to snipers. Once I switched to just harassing (remember these are cracked snipers, i couldn't kill them easily) the snipers, we won the next 2 rounds without me making a lot of kills. Trust your teammates and identify enemy threats.
Glad you are saying these things, I thought I was taking crazy pills as every forum around me kept on complaining about "no one swapping off DPS so I can have another healer" or something similiar, before the match has even started.... usually these people can't even get out of bronze, and say it's due to players not "picking right team comps" If you cannot carry in Bronze despite whatever comp you have, you are at best Silver anyways, and I am not trying to be mean when I say that. Also, it's not "swappin off" if you don't even let them play the hero before switching. Secondly, I want players to play their best character and best role more than I want them to swap because they are "supposed" to... I am a support main, and you best believe you gonna have to outperform me on the support role before I just swap off it - and trust me... you don't want me on a Vanguard... I'm ass. People think picking a tank =/= playing a tank but you can't tank without a healer, otherwise you're just feeding ultimates really. I say that so that you can maybe start considering whether you want someone to play who they can be effective on, or you want them to fulfill some ESports Team Fantasy Roleplay you imagine you are on. None of this is for you, Coach. But for any player struggling in rank, and thinking it has anything to do with their Team Comp or teammates picks that's causing it - I promise you it isn't. You can *always* have done something better than you did last round. And as it's the only thing we have power over to change, let's only let ourselves stress on those things and not the things we cannot. *TAKING DAMAGE IS NOT TANKING* *LOOKING FOR THE ENEMY OVER MAINTAINING SIGHTLINES ON YOUR TEAMMATES IS NOT SUPPORTING* *GUERILLA TACTICS TO GET A KILL AND GET OUT IS NOT CARRYING* The last one really grinds my gears more than "bad picks" or any other thing. If you're reading this, I want you to look back on your gameplay as DPS, and be honest with your answer for my question: Do you find yourself, swinging in, dashing in, going in, taking oout a healer, or "diving their back line and getting all their focus" before you dip out away and rinse and repeat? And then get frustrated that your team is not furthering the objective despite you "taking out x person" or "they were all focusing me, how could you guys not x, y, z" *Because we have been playing 6v5 this whole time, bro* . While you zip around the map looking for health stations, or blow your load with iron fist on a single character and run off after and come back a minute later... And when you do briefly show up, AT BEST you grab a kill before dipping away, so now it's 5v5...thanks? At worst, you just pop in, cause a support death as they try to overextend to save you from dying, but now you both die, and the team is wiped 4v6.. sick..., aaaand now the entire enemy team have Ults too... for us to respawn and fight them 6v5 without you again...and now your probably griefing about "your bad team" or just have a negative mindset going forward the rest of the match - making it next to impossible to win. If you take any of my advice from this, have it be this: a negative mindset is losing you more game than you realize. If you think you are gonna lose because the match is about to start and you have 5 dps and youre the only healer - you're right. You will lose. You might think this a corny statement or I'm overexaggerating, but I'm dead serious. It is 1000x harder to "somehow win" when you *EXPECT* to lose, than it is to win without any preconceived belief on how the match will end BEFORE IT HAS EVEN STARTED. Like, my guy, chill... Let them cook, and whoever is underperforming in their role should see if they feel they could be more effective by changing sometihng. Don't expect anything more than that and you WILL win.
Why it feels that he is saying really detailed tips that i think I missed them in overwatch 😅. This is probably the most useful tips video i ever watched it points out some of critical issue that i face a lot.:
Picking your favourite isn’t really good for anyone but yourself if you want to win working with your team comp is important, sure when your learning in quick play it doesn’t matter sure you can win with other comps but sometimes your going to need to learn your team and work around and with them to capitalize better over all Edit: that’s just how I play in general since I enjoy understanding how each class plays to both counter them better and use them if the team comp needs it like no healer mostly
This is my thoughts on 7 if you’re following someone else’s game plan, you need to think of the possibility of succession. If you see you have 2 allies on spawn timer you shouldn’t needlessly dive with the other dive especially if your enemies can easily outnumber you. The risk reward factor needs to be at least more positive in a sense if it’s high risk the pay off must be high reward if not you’re just throwing off a gamble.
Idk. I am in bronze 1 and my team gets stomped every damn time like it is some beginners vs top 500 players. This is still a team game and I am not the guy with 30k dmg 50k heal and 80k dmg blocked to keep the guys alive who are supposed to be your team instead of your enemies.
I've recently hit a complete brick wall at plat 1. Can't get to diamond because there's a Hawkeye in every lobby. No clue what I'm supposed to do to deal with this
How come in anyones tip videos no one mentions using high ground like in ow. Seems to be pretty op for me as a healer main so far, unless they have a spidey
Another add to your tip 10: If you're a DPS main, don't duo with another DPS. it drastically increases your chances for 4-5 DPS on your team. Find a Strategist or even better, Vanguard main to duo with.

@@PewPewShootEmUpbro I 100% feel that. Everyone is a dick lmao
around 7:20 another tip could be ult charge management, you already have your ult and if you hit enemies from that distances theres dropoff dmg, getting a pick there is almost impossible, instead you just trade dmg, giving healers free ult charge while you gain nothing
congrats on top 500. Been enjoying the channel.
Here are some team/role comp points:
We can’t play weekday mornings bro we actually work

Fellow Mills here, congrats man! Been loving the content, keep it up!

Lol, i play drunk late all the time. Somtimes I have no clue what's going on.
Good time to quickplay! Or be on my enemy team only.
you’re the guy that always gets on my team somehow , and then all my opponents are cracked out on 100mg adderall it’s not fair
@@ethanwalaska3887 These guys get on both teams, they just get picked by you and your team before their performance becomes noticeable.
Tbf some people can perform well under the influence like a Viking brawler, but it's rare, and some will use that idea to excuse things like drunk driving. Better at least that they're playing a video game and losing you 25 rank points and not out causing someone to lose their son or daughter by being on the road.
shoutouts to u bruh ik ppl and myself hate it when we get guys like u on the team but ur rly just out here enjoying life and i respect that
Thanks.
Try playing healer
If you're not willing to play healer you don't get to complain about a lack of healers.
I mean, the maps have health packs
"4 dps, 1 tank and 1 support" meanwhile 99% of my games are 5-6 dps
One thing I’ve been doing as Luna is locking on the air units like iron man to heal while I heal the tanks and other team members
Bro...we are working in the morning. 🤣🤣🤣
Is there is a stable way to use team vc while playing in duo? Sometimes i speak but duo doesn't hear anything in ingame vc, so does the team. With my duo we are on discord , but i'd like to give team info as well. I hold ` to speak, mb i should switch channels somewhere? 🤔
+1 for the times to queue up. I learned that the hard way in OW. Gaming morning to midday during the week is optimal time.
Just started comp. It is amazing to me how many people don't use a mic/comms.
Wild right?
In bronze league many players are still learning fundamental game mechanics. Having fat conversations over voice chat isn't yet the main priority like in diamond
@stephanfouche9208 QP is for learning mechanics. If you're trying to learn mechanics in comp, you're throwing.
@@Mister_Hockey Oh I understand now. I thought ranked was for playing people on your skill level and quick match is for random skill groupings
Thats normal. Comming is eare, wven in higher tiers of play.
when u mentioned finding the right duo buddies at the end, i was in the middle of a game with a really annoying toxic e-girl that wouldn't shut up on comms
she started complaining right off the bat simply cuz nobody else was talking on mic, and we were winning
after round 1 a few of us started telling her to just zip it cuz her speaking at all was getting in the way, and she seems to believe any comms is better than silence and in this instance her input was absolutely a hindrance lol
like legit she'd rush in get blasted to 10% and start screaming for heals as if we weren't already aware and chasing her down to get her healed up
thank you) all of those are great advice. keeping the bar high as always, mills👍
Knowing your characters utility and purpose for winning is the key I'm finding now. So many maps on attack and my dps is hela, Hawkeye, moon knight.
Literally this tho
You assume that casual players that only play duelist have a plan
Bro, the way you talk is so interesting. You are just nice to listen to. No glaze
Love the chapters option to the right of the Vid
Very smooth
I agree so hard with you. I have a friend who always cries if he's the only healer and it's so annoying! If you're a good enough healer 1 IS enough and you can win every time as long as you have at least 1 tank and 1 healer and your dps aren't bleeding in like a bunch of kids at lunch😅
If you're not great at DPS play Scarlett witch in a pinch, Cloak and Dagger for support, and Groot or Venom for tank.
All these characters are easy enough to half ass play and still be useful. Some of them you don't even need to aim 😅
Finally! an actually good tips video! thank you
"climb very easily" lol
I am an Adam Warlock main but u can flex into captain America but the problem is I don't play cap like you should, I play him as a flanker. His damage is meh but he has so much sticking power that most long range DPS can't get away from him and dont have the health to survive and need to move forward into their team meaning my team can have better access to them
He’s a flanking tank… that’s how you play him. Your doing it fine
Love the work
Ty!
Ok, but one thing I saw in your chat during your King of the Hill explanation: "No one named AHMED is french".
Whoever that was hasn't been to France or doesn't know France at all it seems 😆
ANYWAYS AWESOME VIDEO THANK YOU (Imma need more Winter Soldier tips tho, ngl, still gotta watch the advanced guide)
This is a really good tip video all around good stuff man.
Bro you’re just about at 100K, congrats!
This is the only game that has gotten me off playing vr in years!
Positioning is always key in games like this, in MOBA games as well
If your Black Panther is going hard on the back-line, go equally hard on the front line.
24:53 whats your source ?
ive been steadily climbing by learning a character of each class. I dont think 2 2 2 is the ideal comp but as long as we have 1 of each class then the game is always winnable. My only issue is im not the best at shooters so I need to work on my aim and mechanics to climb even higher
not me with 3 glasses of wine playing ranked and watching this
I've had so much success starting off on venom and going spiderman when I see my dps getting no kills. I just get more value out of holding their backline or even getting a pick than jumping in off cooldown
Its easy to say just play your character when 9 out of 10 times ppl will tilt even before the match starts.
1:00 I believe in early stages of playing 2 healers are needed cause most people a just "ok" at healing the team
11:30 I wish we had audio chat cause I constantly yell stop going that way, come flank with me
I’m a dps main and I’m actually fairly decent at it.
Everyone acting cool unless your enemy has also watched this video

21:03 lmao he forgot to mention this is also when the players who have day jobs will be on. I ain’t day-queueing because I’m at work.
In a 6 man, we've won with 6 dps, 6 sup, 1sup and any combo, etc. Totally depends on team comp, team chemistry, and who you know how to play.
The 5 vanguard 1 strategist is the most broken comp
4:08 maybe you should’ve changed to tank instead? If you know he was bad at tank and would’ve been better off as staying dps you could’ve changed? Sure you were “popping” off on dps but that doesn’t matter if y’all lose 🤦♂️
I switch between tank and support is that bad because the play style for them are different
Are there any good healers besides Cloak and Dagger? I feel like she's the only character that can actually fully heal the team and kick ass damage wise.
Mantis
i main psylocke and there was a cracked duo hawkeye and widow on another team, i was focusing healers and we lost one round coz all my teammates kept dying to snipers. Once I switched to just harassing (remember these are cracked snipers, i couldn't kill them easily) the snipers, we won the next 2 rounds without me making a lot of kills. Trust your teammates and identify enemy threats.
Glad you are saying these things, I thought I was taking crazy pills as every forum around me kept on complaining about "no one swapping off DPS so I can have another healer" or something similiar, before the match has even started.... usually these people can't even get out of bronze, and say it's due to players not "picking right team comps"
If you cannot carry in Bronze despite whatever comp you have, you are at best Silver anyways, and I am not trying to be mean when I say that.
*TAKING DAMAGE IS NOT TANKING*
*LOOKING FOR THE ENEMY OVER MAINTAINING SIGHTLINES ON YOUR TEAMMATES IS NOT SUPPORTING*
*GUERILLA TACTICS TO GET A KILL AND GET OUT IS NOT CARRYING*
The last one really grinds my gears more than "bad picks" or any other thing. If you're reading this, I want you to look back on your gameplay as DPS, and be honest with your answer for my question:
Do you find yourself, swinging in, dashing in, going in, taking oout a healer, or "diving their back line and getting all their focus" before you dip out away and rinse and repeat? And then get frustrated that your team is not furthering the objective despite you "taking out x person" or "they were all focusing me, how could you guys not x, y, z"
*Because we have been playing 6v5 this whole time, bro* .
It's not that deep😭
Bro how tf are u already there???? Respect
so is it good to play multiple role or its better to stick to one ?
make up u r mind
People often tell me “Spider-Man swap you have no kills and 9 deaths” and to that I say “Spider-Man doesn’t kill”

Him: hehe
Why it feels that he is saying really detailed tips that i think I missed them in overwatch 😅.
This is probably the most useful tips video i ever watched it points out some of critical issue that i face a lot.:
Picking your favourite isn’t really good for anyone but yourself if you want to win working with your team comp is important, sure when your learning in quick play it doesn’t matter sure you can win with other comps but sometimes your going to need to learn your team and work around and with them to capitalize better over all
Edit: that’s just how I play in general since I enjoy understanding how each class plays to both counter them better and use them if the team comp needs it like no healer mostly
If the majority of players followed this mindset we'd never have any healers and dps players would just switch between dps and tank
supports are closer to DPS than tanks lol. id rather pick mantis and click heads than groot and spam walls
Thankfully this game makes the supports very strong also.
The next tip was swap if your underperforming did u not watch the video. Just. Typed after 3 min?!?!
"this mindset" as if there isn't 10 different tips in the video. Bro didn't even watch the video
My main support is a damage dealer and I haven’t even played tank yet. So this isn’t a fact.
Would love more console specific tips from basically anyone.
Exactly they took one step forward and two steps back can’t count how many games I’ve played just like this since the patch

Play in the morning, yeah right haha
This guy speaks with the Mr.Beast cadence especially in the intro
Locking only your favorite character right at the start is dumb and a bad move. It depends on the map, gamemode, and then team comp.
Says you. Lock and win
If you get your ult really fast then I think you should be using it as much as possible especially healers. Not worth saving it most of the time
If you're playing DPS and it's been a while and your damage is less than 2k might be time to switch to tank or heal
Why do your maps look so bright!? Honest question
I’m new to the game and usually play AoE dps. Are there any with good range?
Squirrel Girl
But she doesn't have a game-changing ult like other characters have
@ I ended up with Moon Knight… he’s so broken
thanks coach!
That was smooth 6:51
Idk. I am in bronze 1 and my team gets stomped every damn time like it is some beginners vs top 500 players. This is still a team game and I am not the guy with 30k dmg 50k heal and 80k dmg blocked to keep the guys alive who are supposed to be your team instead of your enemies.
8:00 I win 1v2s literally almost every game with Iron Fist. Wuchuu mean dawg
Must be easy in bronze lul
How come nobody is using the secondary fire of hawkeye in close combat? Its legit insane damage being missed out
I've recently hit a complete brick wall at plat 1. Can't get to diamond because there's a Hawkeye in every lobby. No clue what I'm supposed to do to deal with this
I thought the ult carry over was a bug and that it only carried over for rounds in domination matches
This video is only a day year old but when I check my top 500 today they’re all in gm+, but the thing is I’ve been in plat for like 4 days, way before this video was released I just never thought about checking top 500. Now I’ll never knowwww
