It's tragic, even horrifying when you think about the fate of those original worlds. They knew the end was coming. They knew that every last living thing would die. And still, in only a scant few decades, out of determination and desperation, the worlds colluded to build an ark that, if it couldn't prevent their end, could at least revive them after. What an unimaginable terror it must have been to see another world in the sky and watch yours shatter beneath your feet. Who could dare blame the collective fear of the future from manifesting so strongly?
I'm sure most people didn't know about their impending doom. Or... maybe they did, and it was that massive collective that had the fear needed to create moebius.
As someone who deals with anxiety on a regular basis, Noah's ending line resonates with me on an immensely deep level. I was a blubbering mess during the ending scene. This game is so important for those of us who deal with things like depression and anxiety, it's such a powerful message and I adore Takahashi and MonolithSoft for making this masterpiece.
I feel this. I truly believe these games changed who I am at a fundamental level and I'm glad to hear that it was just as powerful for you too! Thank you for sharing :)
I also played Xenoblade 1 while I was going to be 12 But I only ended it in April of this year😂 I spent more than a decade on a single game 😂 (I had a pause of 4 year without touching this game )
Z had a point, it would mean oblivion if they let the worlds collide, even Nia said that Origin failed to reboot the process when it was supposed to, that is when Z took over. The problem of course was that Z and Moebius went to another extreme.
Its a wild ride, this passage of fate. Never thought that line would sneak up to hit me on a second playthrough. Such a beautiful series, fantastic playthrough. Thank you!
I don’t like picking favorite games, but this and Xenoblade 2 have almost forced me to. Not to say I don’t love other games, but that ending really made an impression on me. And I totally cried when it showed Melia and played Eryth Sea😂
@@icarusmagnus When the game was anounced at the original direct, i was shocked that a xc3 was coming, if xc4 is anounced the same way as they did with xc3 i think that that will probably be the first direct i cant help but really break down crying over.
If you complete Eunie's Side Story, X shows up just before Y does during Origin. As you would kill her in Origin alongside Y, she cannot show up there unless you first clear Eunie's Side Story, otherwise it would be possible for her to exist in that story despite being dead
Yeah, I ended up doing Eunie's Side Story much later and off stream. I wish I had done them on stream but I don't think I had any pre-requisites completed in order to do them
You know, i don't think we will get Noah in XC4... As Takashi said, he want to surprise us in a good term... You may have already noticed, but we all want to see Noah and Mio reunited, we want to see what is the now... When i released it, it hurt me more than anything, all of the third game came back instantly, and this sentence: "We all have a moebius side", fuck the futur, i want to see how it goes 😭
At first, I didn’t appreciate this ending. Now, I’ve seen it a few times and even if it’s still not at the same level as the ending of 1 and 2 (in my opinion), it’s a great ending and very emotional
@@icarusmagnus completely! I love N and M’s ending and the last scene where the group is running trying to catch each other, but the battle with Z was very boring
I see, you haven't gotten all heroes during the game. Usually you get 6 random reinforcements with each battle. The ending really got me. "I love you, and all you guys" - Rex meant what he said 🤣
the combo of the ending music + the characters running is like the most heinous thing a game has ever done to me, takahashi is eeeevil
Them running and not getting closer still physically hurts me man
The second they mentioned "separate the worlds" I was like nononononono STOP!
@@icarusmagnusmore surprised they didn't run into any of the half visible trees...

@@lucassmith3790 Most knew given they had to work on Origin and it was visible to them, most likely the only ones unawares were the children.

This is why this game is my favorite game, I've never been hurt this bad by a video game
"I remember playing Xenoblade 1 when it came out.... I was 11 or 12".... oh man, you make me feel REALLY OLD XD

In the building of Origin you can see Tora having constructed the Alrest side. Shulk definitely did the Bionis/Mechonis side.
I have succesfully reimburse my Mental Therapy cost from Monolith Soft
U guys should do the same

Might help recover it a bit when you play DLC. But also it will make you suffer from waiting on XC4, lol
Brooooo I'm gonna be so excited for XC4 and where they take the series! Whatever they do with it, I'm sure it's gonna be fantastic

Amazing ending! What a masterpiece!
This game and tales of arise have been the best games i have played in my life. No other game made me cry more and harder as a man then this.
Working on finishing Tales of Arise myself still, but man XC3 humbled me so fast
An interesting thing to note is that Noah disappears from the square as the birds fly past... which might have some strange implications.
😂

”those are aegis swords! what do they meeeeeeean!?”
It means, "He loves all you guys!"

Once Noah decides on something, nothing will change his mind.
That's kinda N's problem tbh.
