    There’s so much you don’t think about with rv life until you either have to do it yourself or you see someone else do it. Great tips! 😊

    I don't understand how people do this lifestyle. UA-cam videos? I see a ton of videos with couples who say they work full time and can still travel and "be free", but they don't say what they do for work. Vets are overrated...These pups look SO happy! ❤

      I work in social media/digital marketing and Cole works for a healthcare staffing agency! Sadly, it’s getting harder to find fully remote work that allows for this lifestyle

      Vets are NOT overrated. Please find a vet right for you

    We travel with 2 Goldens and they're great travelers. We have a 28ft 1970 Holiday Rambler.

      Love goldens! That's great, I feel like it can be tough if your dog isn't naturally a good traveler. We had some hiccups with our lab when she was really young, under a year old. She would occasionally get an upset stomach on long drives but those issues seem to be gone now!

    We have a 3 year old German Shepherd and we have been on the road for 1 year. He has adapted very well. He loves travel days and gets in the truck well before we leave because he is so excited. Great tips, structure and routine are key! Love the spoiling them with Pendleton beds!

      We love German Shepherds! Such smart dogs. Our black lab wants to hop in the truck the second we open the door, too. They're both really good travel dogs, thank goodness!

      Awww we LOVE shepherds. Such good dogs and so smart. I probably should have mentioned the many bonuses of traveling with dogs. Ours are also good watchdogs and protectors :)

      That's awesome to hear we love the lifestyle and we're totally off the grid in our camper solar and all we don't use our AC just a box fan it does well for us we're in southern Ohio close to the family health problems so we found a cheap campground that has all the adminities and it's very cheap monthly rates

    I just got a second Aussie puppy. I’m worried about when I get back on the road because they want to play or be outside all the time and campgrounds require leashes and me to be with them. Not about that! Esp in 30 degree weather.
    Also thinking about taking out the dinette to open up space even though I lose storage. 2 is tough!
    I am in a 22ft Airstream. No luxury of slide outs

    My question is how tolerant are campsite places of having dogs

    • @WorkinfortheWild
      @WorkinfortheWild  2 місяці тому

      Very! We’ve never had an issue finding campgrounds that allow dogs. Most require a leash of no more than 6 feet.

    I really enjoy your channel. Are you guys heading south for the winter or do you plan to be in a colder climate?

    What about an ESA. (Emotional Support Animal) which is a service dog, are they forbidden in national parks?

    • @WorkinfortheWild
      @WorkinfortheWild  Рік тому +1

      You'd have to check out the NPS website. Looks like they do allow service dogs anywhere people are allowed...but they say Emotional Support Animals are not under that umbrella: www.nps.gov/planyourvisit/service-animals.htm#:~:text=No.,animal%2C%20not%20just%20a%20dog.

      ESA is NOT a service dog and doesn't have the same protections under ADA as a task trained service dog.
