The problem is aiwa does not make the exos 10. The aiwa we all knew is gone. Sakar International(Altac Lansing) bought aiwa. This most likely explains why it doesn't sound as good. Imo altac lansing speakers suck.
Sorry, but the exos 9 sounds excellent and more if we consider that it was launched 8 or 9 years ago. At that moment there was almost no competition in sound quality against the exos 9. The JBL boombox started to create some competition. Got 2 and both still working like the first day on a daily use. Of course the brand is not the one from the 90s, but that doesn't not mean the product is bad at all.
It's a shame it doesn't sound better than the 9 bc they hit it out of the park with the features. I love my 9 and always said it would've been even better with a radio and if the eq would dbl as a spectrum analyzer. I love how they added the vu meters too. They should've kept the original driver scheme, but with beefier drivers and an even beefier amp, but I figure they were probably trying to keep the cost to a minimum too.
I use "FOUR" Exos-9 (2 L&R + 2 L&R) units with an Electro-Voice ELX200-12SP 12 inch Powered Subwoofer mounted at my pool. It's a round 26' pool and I set them on evenly spaced equipment tripods. It'll do for now as the best bang for the buck in an outdoor setting that takes minimal effort to secure during a storm.
Got 2 exos 9 and I was thinking that exos 10 would be an evolution in sound quality....but this video is telling the opposite.... My 9s got more than 7 years running lovely....it looks they will continue for a while...as i havent found an upgrade to justify their retirement....long life to exos 9!!!!
I have 2 batts for my 9. No removable battery and pulling speakers to replace with radiators is a big no. Rather buy another bumpboxx instead of the 10.
200 watts is a stretch. If you search for FCC test report Exos-9, and click on the internal photos showing the speaker magnets, you'll see the sub is only rated for 20 watts, and the midrange 20 each, and the tweeters 10 each. That's only 80 total.
Exos 9 sounds much better..clear.. .zero distortion..,but exos 10 has lots of distortion what's wrong with u Aiwa comeson.. .Aiwa exos 9 still the best sounding bluetooth speaker
@@nfsspartanprimare u sure exos 9 and 10 can’t be linked? I have a 9 and was debating getting a 10, but if they can’t be linked, then I’m gonna get a soundboks Go instead.

@claudiomenegoz1044 yes but this new company did not make the exos9. They were bought out just two years ago.
I bought the Exos 9 and had it for a bit. I wasn't happy with the sound, as to me it sounded "boxy" and not open.
It also makes a world of difference on any of these devices if your source (phone or tablet) has an adjusted equalizer.
@@52rustyshackThis new unit has no eq. The exos 9 does.
Thanks for this, this helped me a lot
I always find you wherever I go
😂
@@IvanRandom-m4i I'm everywhere ha ha
@@Jagistreviews You are going to bring this speaker to your channel
@IvanRandom-m4i idk maybe but I'm not happy that altec lansing bought this company out and made this speaker worse than it's predecessor
I got my Exos-9 battery cells replaced - portable as ever again, lovely sound.
How did u find a battery?? I can't seem to find any.
How'd you do that?
I've had my exos 9 for almost 10 years and i've never had to replace the batary in it at all. I'm not even sure where or how I would do that.
@robbieelkins2301 got 2 of them batteries went in both. They had replacements...but they didn't last long

But does the exos 10 stand up to the 9?
Hi. Do you have any specifications on the exos 10. Does it weigh more or less than the 9. Frequency response.Cheers
Can the exos 9 be linked to the 10?

Whats your honest feelings, is the 10 better and hows the trebble truly between the two
Exos-9 💥🔥
The 10 cost $200 more as well. Glad I got the 9.
I have a pair of 9's. Love them! I have bags like seen in the video for both and a remote which is a necessity when pairing.
They both cost 499 when they were new. So with inflation the 10 is actually cheaper than the 9 was.
@@District_57_Toastmasters didn’t know that. But $300 was the right price. So hopefully they drop it again.
@@johnnelson3665 I haven't seen any for sale, unfortunately. Just used ones.

Hmmm not sure on the Exos-10, not as complete of a full range maybe - mids feel lower. The bass is slightly punchier on the 10.

Those numbers are RMS and the 200 watts is peak wattage. RMS is a more accurate measure.
There is a misprint on the sub. Its meant to say 120. Confirmed by CEO Joe at the time.

Are the two linked? Ultimate sound when linked and in separate left and right channel mode.
Disregard, I watched for two minutes before realizing there was a 10 and a 9 side by side. Can they be linked?
@@patricksteele6616hell no. Its different tech at this point. Cheaper crap too.
