69 Mustang GT here- Good to see another 69 Mustang getting worked on. Appreciate the backstory as well. Maybe one day, I may have to make me one of them... 🤔
great video, would love to see where this resto mod will go. just a tip for next video say click the like and subscribe and youtube should automatically light up the buttons with a rainbow that circles around them as you say it :)
Gulfstream Aqua! Love the color. I also have a '69 Mach 1. Why did you pick a T56 over a TKX. The TKX bolts in place with no mods, I have one behind my 428CJ and it works great. I believe you're going to have to modify the tunnel for a T56. For the F.I. I would encourage you to look into something that divorces the electronics from the metering system. I have a Pro-Flo 4 and love it. Holley's Terminator X would be a great choice too.
@@chuck_machine bingo! And I currently have an order at American powertrain which wouldn’t require any tunnel modifications, as the t56 comes in several models. The reason I’m picking it over the t5/tko/thx is because of the power scaling. The t56 can handle up to 650 hp, so if I ever decide to start pushing more power I’m not limited by the transmission I’ll look into the pro flow and terminator x as well! Thank you for letting me know!
Yup, As of right now she's a keeper 😉 Maybe once it's fully done and I can't work on it I might sell her to get a new project but maybe not. Not entirely sure yet haha
@@rensole we just inherited our grandparents 1970 skylark, not as cool as your mustang, we are excited to tinker on it tho. Fixing an old car is one of the better projects :) yours looks great.
@@projectburpees I’m sorry for your loss, and to be fair the skylark also has its charm! The older cars just have a soul to them imo, lots of charm and personality are lost in modern day cars. Hope you show your project as well 😉
So much room for activities!
My cousin bought a Mach 1 identical to the thumbnail pic it was sweet! We had soooo much fun in that car! only in America!
@@blucheer8743 who knows, I imported this one as a barn find 3 years ago 😉
Best cars are always American made imo

@@gx21a just had a quick peek at your channel, love the Gt!
Same engine and transmission as mine 😉
And I’d say go for it! The story makes the car imo

Thanks dude! And will keep it in mind, weirdly enough I for some reason avoided saying it as it’s almost white noise to everyone 😅
I’m guessing you already have power steering and power disc brakes? Great build btw!
Great videos.
Thank you!
Glad I followed your link from ‘X’… I’m going to try and enjoy the entire process.
Thanks for clicking it! And I hope you enjoy the journey 😉
