Kelly Clarkson & Justin Guarini - Timeless (TMC Club Mix)

The year was 2003. Television had just propelled teen idolatry and as a result, 20th Century Fox churned out the teen flick "From Justin To Kelly" featuring Idol contestants Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini going through the motions of a tumultuous Miami Spring Break. The movie wasn't received very well. It was ultimately nominated for no less than eight Golden Razzies. The soundtrack however was fun and well executed. As a result of the movie tanking, it unfortunately never saw the light of day. We did get one song though, the gorgeous "Timeless" through Justin Guarini's debut album. I decided this song needed an update, so I went in and completely changed up the production slowing it down slightly to fit a 128 BPM tempo. The vocals are laid on top of driving house beats featuring latin elements. Those beats are accompanied by some filmic pads, a subtle bass, and the breakdown even features the grand piano break as a tribute to the original. Enjoy!
