I want to learn THAI Language from now ... !! 🙏
That's a very realistic role play. Thais drive just like that !
These conversation videos are my favorite, because they are a good source of Comprehensible Input!
I love your role plays. It makes learning more fun. I am trying to learn this beautiful language so that the next time I visit Thailand I can have a conversation with the locals instead of wondering what they are saying. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for watching my video. I'm happy to hear that you liked it : )
Sawatdee ka Jan, thank you for watching my lesson. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it. Please join my Facebook page as well, just search for Learn Thai with Mod. kop kun ka:-)
One of your best videos! Thank you.
Hi, Mod, The way you drive is very fun and make me enjoy a lot. But please take care when you really drive yourself.
The first scene is exactly what I experienced in Thailand...mainly in Bangkok. Constantly making sure they use the meter and bargaining prices with them. I leaned some Thai from UA-cam videos and it did help when pronouncing avenue numbers for example (sukhumvit jet sip nuung). Traffic is insane but it flows.
i used soot สุด pretty often as i had to direct the final turn to the cabbie at the end of the soi..
hence: soot soi laew kwah (make a right turn at the end of the soi)/
soot soi laew sai (make a left turn at the end of the soi)
Excellent video and very helpful. Thank you very much for the video!
Thank you for learning Thai from my channel. :)
Very helpful! We took many taxis in Bangkok and Chiang Mai
Hi my name is Oz and i wanted to say that u great teacher . I was in thailhand a week ago and spoke thai very good including with the texi drivers. The only thing i saw that the girls afraid if u know too much thai because they think u knowe all . Thank u
This is your funniest video to date, I never get tired of watching it
so much fun watching your video!! Very very cute role play!! Thank you very much!!
Wow. Thank you Mod. So much fun! Paul/Bangkok
LOL. Such dorky driving! But so cute! I bet you drive exactly like that in real life.
Thanks you alot very useful for me.
tanon = road / avenue / street
soi = lane / side street / alley
soi is hence smaller than tanon
very clever and funny , i enjoyed this lesson
Thank you it's very useful...
Great info! Best part was the driver pressing the meter!! Ha ha.
i didn't got this video like others
just bold words when speaks in thai to english so i easy to get all single words
I like this. I will try to learn hard.
Kruu Mod,
Thank you very much for this wonderful and very helpful lesson. YOu create very good scenarios and then take the time to explain every bit of it, which is very helpful.
Excellent vid K Mod. Very useful now I am living in Bangkok.
Thanks for making this video. Very detailed explanation. But please be sure to use high contrast colors for words and background, I can hardly see some words which are in white color in a white background.

Geng VDO :) very useful survival thai language lesson. I hate when the taxi drivers try to negotiate fixed price. But now I will never have that problem.
Korp Kun Krap. Pom rian maak jaak VDO :D subscribed

Yay! Another fun Video from our Kru Khun Suay :) And Mink is back. Thank you so much Kru Mod. I was just curious though, what's the status of the original channel? Has YT confirmed that it'll be reopened? Thank you again. :)
Thank you for your kind words. Anyway, the correct spelling for 'love' in Thai is with "rolling R" but in spoken Thai we change to "L" sound. In case you didn't know. : )
Welcome to Bangkok. Hope you like it here. Thank you for watching my video. I'm happy to hear that you found it useful. : )

I am happy to hear that you found my videos useful in your Thai learning. Hope you continue to follow my lessons in the future as well. kop kun ka: )
good
Hi Mod,
I was in Bangkok last week and used the expressions from this video to take taxis. It worked perfectly...except when we actually wanted to go to Khlong Latmayom floating market! The driver ended up taking us to Taling Chan...which was a bit of a let-down. But we found a superb Isan restaurant nearby, which made up for it.
Anyway, the drivers were all very impressed...especially with 'mai dtong tawn'!
Again, this is sooooooooooooooooooooo helpful!!!!!
Thank you for watching, please subscribe.
5555 talok dee. Loving the roleplay and of course the precise explanation Kru mod^^
When going back through and talking about what was said, it would be super helpful to have the Thai script instead of the Roman script (or both) - many don't have the Thai script which is annoying. It is such a bad habit to read the Roman script, and without the Thai script the lesson isn't as helpful as it could be, especially for me since I'm trying to learn to read as well. Thanks.
Thanks for a great video, the roleplay was so funny :) Also Thai people usually call me Seven when they try to pronounce my real name. It is OK with me though but I will not carry around things to sell them :)
Hi Mod. Thanks a lot for these free videos. They are very useful even for my intermediate level. Please do write in thai as well if you have the chance. I see you have done it on some vidoes. I tried that e-book of yours but it did not work on my mac. I bet there is a issue there, huh...? By the way you are really, really cute, but I bet you hear that before LOL. Keep up the good work.
Apologies for the delay in my response. I don't know how I forgot to add Thai characters in this video. I will add it soon. Thank you for watching and your suggestion. ขอบคุณค่ะ :)

Mod is cute and like her teaching. Khob Khun krap
Nice video. I get a little confused when i come across sentences like: 'kuen' taang duan mai ?
duan เดือน which i guess means month and has very slight pronunciation difference from the duan in 'taang duan'. Another example คืน khewn and 'kuen' . It would be nice if you could explain these small differences from time to time. Thanks
ranvijay because the vowel -uan (duan=moon, month) doesn't exist in English and this sounds like you say 'der-aan'. (Er+aa)
While 'duan' (quick,express,hurry) sounds like 'doo-waan' (oo+aa)
Hope you can try master these vowels. And good luck!
hi Mod, how do i say if i want to say "keep moving, i know the way and will keep telling you"?
Thank you for watching. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed it. We wanted to make it funny. :)
Nice video! Very helpful! Btw, your brother is cuuuute! 5555+
In the first sentence about 'Go to the market' you have written dta laat with a low tone over laat. Law ling is a low class consonant, the vowel is long aa and the final consonant is daw dow abrupt, or dead, so the tone of laat must be falling tone. A low class consonant cannot have a low tone. I know it is a minor detail .
Some crazy driving Mod! Love the role play....very good lessons..maybe now i can start to learn
Your bro acting smooth.....
mod please inform us about thai writing
Thank you for your comment. I usually add the Thai script to other videos, I'll add it to this one soon, I just forgot.
Excuse me teacher if I want to buy the cheap clothes in Thailand which market I should go?
It was a mistake. I already fixed it. Thank you for watching. :)
What I like about Thai taxis is that they all drive manual transmission!
I agree... what's the point of learning Roman script? You can't really just read it like English, you have to learn to read brand new (tones, vowels and consonants that aren't found in English), so why not use that effort to learn reading Thai?
J'aime beaucoup tes vidéos / I like your videos. J'ai cependant du mal avec la transcription phonétique, ce serait bien d'avoir le texte en commentaires de la video / I don't like the "english phonetic" , it would be great to have the discussion in thai in the comments area. ขอบใจ
kop kun ka: ) Good to hear that you enjoyed it.
I have never seen a swag Thai woman before...
