Very god video. It would also be good with a video about interlocking between the circuit breakers so we dont by mistake take out the outgoing line when coupling.
Is there disconnectors which can be use under load while others are not? and if so where each of them are advised to be implemented and how can one determine which type is it in visual?
It is really a good explanation of the concept. I do have a doubt. The incoming feeder is connected to either of B1 or B2. So how will the loads connected to the other bus gets supply? For e.g.: at 10:11, after enabling and disabling the CB, the incoming feeder is connected to B1 and Q2 is receiving supply through B1. However, as disconnector from the feeder is not connected to B2, how will Q1 receive power? One possible scenario is assuming that the bus bar B2 is connected to some other feeder, but in the explained layout, it is not clear. can you please help me understand?
Sir i have dout..If we have a 2 buses so we want 2 incomers but in single line diagram you are showing only 1 incomer...how to transfer the supply if incoming has gone?
In your video you said disconnectors of bus coupler first close then close CB ??? after that you said for bus disconnectors we can open and close on load ??? How possible like this if CB not open
I am doing my final year design project . I have a 11 kV system with eight mini-substations connected underground with XLPE 70mm2 cable. The mini-substations are indicated in kVA ranging from 200 to 500. I am using DIgSilent to draw the schematic. My question is how do I represent the mini-substations on the software. Your help will be highly appreciated.
I have a question abot bus coupler circuit breaker. Is it possible to open the circuit breaker while both disconnectors are closed on one outgoing bay? Is there any interlock on that circuit breaker to prevent it from opening or is it possible to open it? If so, what problem would it cause?
Sir , you are very underrated teacher who teaches us in a very simple way... Kudos to your work 😊
Thank you so much 😊
let us work to increase his reachability to our friends.
@girmahabitamu1102 Thanks! Appreciate that!
Sir! Your videos are extremely helpful to me. Thanks for all your efforts.
You are most welcome
Hi man very very simple understanding, your great man🎉
Your works are so useful and mesmerizing. Keep up the good job
Thank you very much!
Dear sir you are teache the simple way ..
Thank u ❤❤
Glad you liked it 😊
Yeah, Its very helpful to understand it
Glad it was helpful!
This is the best explanation of double bus bar arrangements. Can u also share this for other arrangements in the same format?
Thank you. Will try 👍🏻
sir you're teaching very useful and interlocking control diagram plz put video.
Thanks for the feedback!
Very god video. It would also be good with a video about interlocking between the circuit breakers so we dont by mistake take out the outgoing line when coupling.
Yes please make video on interlocks for this operation
realy intresting!
Thank you sir
Knowledgeable video, Best Explanation...
Glad you liked it
very clear your explain thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback
Your speaking style is excellent 👌
Thank you! 😃
Very knowledgeable video
Well explained
Thanks!
Nice information sir
really amazing
Nice presentation
Thanks a lot
Very useful and plz go for GIS too
Helpful
Sir ... If possible... Will make video on relays used with feeder, capacitor bank, bank, transformer n so on
Tnk you sir
Very informative.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Super👌 good awesome lectures... Please make a videos on basic electronics lectures in easy way..
Bus coupler can also be used for Two incomers and one feeder
Nice

Good
How supply comes to bus 2 ?
Is there any other incomer

Very useful
Glad to hear that
Wat all equipment included in correspondence to bus coupler apart from circuit breaked
Sir can u explain 400kv bus arrangement, load transfer on load with out feeder interruption.
Plz make video on bus riser
great

Thank you very much for the simple explanations and all the videos, but the website is not working, is the problem from my side ?
thank you
Hello and thanks.
The website is opening- www.theelectricalguy.in
What is open bus tie & closed bus tie which one is better?
Thank you sir
Can you make a video on short circuit forces on busbar
Thank you sir ..can u send for us the links for course.😊

Bus coupler bay always in service.
In rare case split buses are used.
Can you open an isolator in the outgoing bay without before opening the CB in the same bay? I thought isolators can only open when CB is open
Isolators are off load devices. And must only be opened when the supply is off.
@@GauravJ in min 9 you open a disconnector with a breaker closed. Is it right to do that?
In your video you said disconnectors of bus coupler first close then close CB ???
after that you said for bus disconnectors we can open and close on load ???
How possible like this if CB not open
Sir could u please suggest some btech projects
Can this idea apply on a single busbar system with a bus tie breaker? Transfer load from one side of the bus tie to the the other
Yes. Possible
Great information
Thank you 😇
Sir we close incoming line two isolators then two bus shares load, that's all why need bus coupler
Is the terms "Bus Coupler" & "Bus Tie Breaker" the same?
What is roll of bus tie

Do the bus couplers in ht panels work in the same way?
Yes!
Hi sir I'm interested work Busbar working my
Question: Is this the same as a bus tie breaker???
Can u say proper definition of busbar
❤
I have a question abot bus coupler circuit breaker. Is it possible to open the circuit breaker while both disconnectors are closed on one outgoing bay? Is there any interlock on that circuit breaker to prevent it from opening or is it possible to open it? If so, what problem would it cause?
There is Electrical interlocking provided between the circuit breaker and isolator.
How it works that inter lock, how it give them
Why is the bus couple CB normally open?
It is closed only while coupling the buses. Rest of the time it will be open
