My old man dog does the same thing as Ollie re: flopping down immediately outside. He likes to sunbathe in our flower beds. Sometimes he helps us with the weeding, other times he squishes the flowers. The Old Man Dog giveth and he taketh away. :)

I got two giant chunks of beef for 4.00 each and no brown coloration on the beef yesterday. I throw the beef in the crockpot all day. Poor Peter coughing. Maybe eat some garlic Peter. Your roast looked good. I think chuck roast has a better flavor than more expensive cuts. I put them in my crock pot it seems the only way I can get them tender.

Have you made friends with the other parents at the story time at the library with similar aged babies? For every stage a baby leaves behind, a lovely new stage begins ... if only I would apply that to the rest of life. I'm so grateful that God is dependable and never changing in character

Girl you need a crockpot! Brown your meat and pop into the crockpot at 8 am with broth and cook on high with onion and carrots until about 1:00, add potatoes and cook until dinner time!
I usually talk with my friend who's in another country twice a week. She messaged me the other day asking why we haven't talked in a while. I thought it was only a couple weeks. We last talked June 24...*insert crickets chirping* I think everyone's summer is flying by!
Elijah is so cute!🥺 Can't believe he is now currently in real time 8 months old now. A little advice is don't have him learn to stand and walk first before crawling because it can cause motor skill development issues when he learns to read in school someday. It's not a wives tale either. Just do your research and it will tell you a good parent would not let their child walk before crawling. My sister who is a nanny tried very hard (and succeeded 😁) to have her baby girl she watches crawl first and she did it at 6 months old and soon after tried hard (the baby) to learn to stand and walk (because she saw her older brothers and other kids walking and wanted to do it too)and succeeded to walk unassisted at 10 months old and now she is 14 months old and loves to run lots.☺️ Maybe Elijah will learn to walk unassisted before he turns 1 in December?🤔

I've been going through the same thing... it gets better! I had my port removed after just 20 days and will finally be getting my new one in 13 days.

I love pot roast. I cook mine in the Instant Pot for 90 minutes, then let it naturally release, add veggies and cook for another 10 minutes.

All babies are different some early some late sitting up, cutting teeth ,crawling, walking,
