This is a great segment because often times rookie Qbs or unproven guys get coached hard and they often do well the first couple years and then coaching changes might happen from the team success and then the new coaches come in and baby the QB or want to be buddy buddy and then you see the regression happen because the coaches arent pushing the "veteran" QB anymore like they would have with a newer guy at that position and other positions where there are stars but especially at the QB position because it is so demanding to be on top of the game in all aspects mental, physical, leadership, film, and fundamentals.

I have been arguing for years that the glamor positions on offense get to much credit and the offensive linemen get ignored. When you compare how much a lineman gets paid on average to how much a quarterback gets paid the disparity is crazy! I understand it is compensation for the pressure and scrutiny the sports media subjects them to. However they also get the glory when everything goes well. Nice to hear a pro quarterback emphasize football is a team sport.
