Kentucky fans go through the same with tickets, they even do season tickets for upper arena. This year they took the media off the floor and put them in upper arena so the could sell theirs for high prices. We call those rich lower arena fans the blue hairs, older fans that act like basketball games are supposed to be tennis matches. That's why you always hear we travel so well for road games and tournament game. They plan family vacations and spend their savings on games like the SEC tournament. Listen to 20,000 people at Rupp and then listen to the fans that make it to Nashville or Atlanta. Then the biggest killer, if Kentucky is up by 15 or more points at halftime the first 10 rows of the lower arena are empty because the blue hairs have made their appearance. They even took a bunch of seats from students and put them in the "ERupption Zone", hundreds of students standing body to body in the end zone on bleachers for the entire game.
I don't doubt Kentucky fans go through their own ticket issues. In fact some of your fans have told us the same thing about Rupp. I think Arkansas and Kentucky fans probably go through these types of issues the most given the size of their fanbases in this sport. Both are top 20 programs in college basketball and don't share a state with a professional team. It's the show in town in those states, and it's the show everyone wants to go to.
calipari cannot coach, from time to time he will get a good enough recruiting class he doesn't have to coach them, this is when you'll see final fours, last year ky had 5 nba players on the team, 2 of which went #3 and #7 in the draft yet could not win a single post season game which included a loss to oakland in the first round of the ncaa tourney, twice ky suffered embarrassing first round exits in the nit for gods sake, ky did see 4 final fours during calipari's first 7 years which included 1 national title but after that not even as much as an sec title in his next 8 seasons, the 1 and done recruits every year does get old after a while when they're not being adequately coached, good luck
I like KY being the underdog against Duke. 👍🏼
i like how kentucky fans hatred for duke has made them ignorant and stupid.
did you see bama struggle at home tonight to beat mcneese state, bama is severly overrated.
