- The iconic Waverley has celebrated its 75th-anniversary sailing to Arrochar by repeating its maiden voyage.
The word’s last sea-going paddle steamer, left Greenock on Thursday.
Built along the Clyde, the ship completed its first voyage on June 16, 1947, cruising up Loch Long and Loch Goil to Arrochar.

I wanted a steamboat, girls hate noise, it's a modern boat, which will take 48 hrs to Russia from Mombasa. I returned to Kenya via Russia in 2011. None stop trip. We take one day to Mumbai and connect straight to Russia. girls prefer through seas
It was built by Ferguson's -only took them.75 years! !!
