1965年7月の来日公演を収録したライブ・アルバム「オール・アバウト・ザ・ベンチャーズ」から "Bulldog" 「ブルドッグ」のDTM制作版です。
CDでは『ザ・ベンチャーズ・コンプリート・ライヴ・イン・ジャパン‘65』に収録されています。
使用ギターは 1990年代後期の USA モズライト Mosrite V-65 Reissue

Nokieさんのテク、４人一体感となったグルーヴの再現、ワクワク・ゾクゾクです。ブリッジ外ピッキングと３小節にもわたるハーフミュートのクロマチックラン....その後の盛り上がり....楽しいです!!!

子供の頃にエレキ合戦という番組が大好きでとくにブルドッグを演奏するバンドに興奮してかじりついて見てました！

おわかりでしたら教えてください。モズライトの下側カッタウェイの角はどうしてそんなに長いのでしょう。座って弾くのに役立つとしても長すぎる気がします。ストラトとかは上が長くて下は短いです。見た目もその方がカッコいいのに。
私は、ギターの形状に関する音響効果は良く分かりませんが、見た目のカッコ良さは人それぞれだと思います。
60年代のエレキ・ギターブームで、モズライトはエレキギターのロールスロイスと呼ばれ、超高額で最高にカッコ良いギターとして垂涎の的でした。
その評価は、もちろんThe Venturesが使用したことで得られたものですが、簡単には言い表せない程の様々な情報がネットでも得られます。ご興味がありましたら検索してみてください。 (^^♪
