One of the things I find so impressive about Hyunjin's dance style is how he can project both absolute masculinity and beautiful androgyny as the same time.
I remember how in behind the scenes we saw Hyunjin repeating the same floor choreo for hundred of times ‘cause the surface in choom studio is different with his usual practice room, like, not slippery enough
I loved the BTS video! I got a chuckle when he was on Live and Chanbin called and told him to come now bc it was late and Hyunjin told the ppl in the Live that he had to go and go home lol.
Hyunjin is a dance King, one of the BEST dancers in the industry. AOTM chose him as the best male dancer for this performance. The media also called him the KPOP performance leader. His dancing and performing talents are one in a million. A true genius.
to show you Hyunjins other side of dancing, you should wach his self made coreography to Billi Ellish`s The Partys Over. Hynjin is a lyrical dancer in descuise.
My respect to hyunjin grew because of his interview where he said he didn't want to be seen as only visuals in skz, because people will talk in the back that he only has face value. So he learnt and practice dancing, rapping, and singing. An all-rounder in an all-rounder group ❤
Hyunjin is outrageously talented and it's so disheartening to see people only talk about his looks. Yeah, he's gorgeous, but it's the least interesting thing about him.
About him being classicly trained, he wasnt at the begininng he learned the basiscs and mostly hip hop as a jyp trainee, later he enrolled in SOPA (school of performing arts) and he took more and more dance classes. He also learned contemporary and jazz (you can see that in his billie eilish coreo) Hyunjin still takes a lot of dance classes of different teachers that he respects
FINALLY.. lol. I have watched this one a lot and I've noticed that alot of his 'heavy pop' movements are on the bass beat and the faster ones are more on the snare/drum beat.
09:13 was us when skz swore that Silent Cry was a song about being sad but the choreo was an entree of sexy body rolls with JUST A TINY SPRINKLE of sadness, and not even a salt bae-level of sprinkle either LOL
Es un príncipe éste chico es tan delicado y con tremenda personalidad y en lo artístico es el mejor tan profesional que se merece los mejores éxitos 👏👏
Hairjin can dance like a madman. And what makes you think we aren't dead we just resurrect to see more and bark. Tongue out at 0:26-and you're tellin' us we're a mess and too drooly?
I would argue that this has to be one of the best -- if not the best -- AotM. Hyunjin really put his all into this and he absolutely understood the assignment.
Hyunjin's AOTM was and still is my favorite(Ni-ki, Wooyoung and Yeonjun coming in next; My top favs). Not only did I love the choreo, the concept and his overall performance, but the song choice itself is what also sold me... I honestly just prefer this style of dance/music more. I don't listen to Post Malone(like at all), but 'Motley Crew' is one of my favorite songs and I loved the way they remixed it for the choreo(I actually like this version more lol)💯
"Sofa?...mhm, soup"- I love it here, it's the mix of absolutely funny and interesting commentary (and sometimes more serious and heartfelt messages) that makes me stick around here.
As much as I love Hyunjin’s AOTM & Billie Eilish cover- Play With Fire is my favorite. Forever. Not just because of the dancing skills. It’s the artistry. Plus, he was making a freaking statement after that hiatus nonsense. Slay.
You should check out Sung Hanbin from ZB1's Bad Boy at Studio Choom. For me he's definitely up there with the best, if not taking the crown, in his recent performance, bringing ballroom/vogue to the plate. Recorded an original song, choreo from Spella, trained by Bada plus some lovely cuts/edits too...
You'll probably never see this comment bcuz you're so popular Rosco and I'm also sure someone has already commented something like this but let me reiterate just for my own satisfaction lol. Hyunjin wearing the hat was his way of covering his beautiful face so people would pay more attention to his dancing and skill and not just his looks in the beginning (that's a quote from Hyunjin himself on the Artist of the Month Behind the Scenes video). By the way...the producer or president(not sure of their title) of StudioChoom had to practically beg Hyunjin to be on Artist of the Month bcuz he felt he didn't deserve it. After he accepted and performed they said he was the best performer they'd ever had. Hyunjin was not classically trained, he was street casted with zero experience in singing, dancing or rapping, and told that he could just get by and be successful with just his looks, but Hyunjin refused to accept the easy way and busted his behind to become one of the most unique and incredibly artistic dancers of our time.
What's the best way to go about making requests (or begging) for your reaction on a particular video? I'd love for you to watch another Studio Choom: 'Break My Heart Myself' covered by ITZY's YEJI & RYUJIN. They've got this incredible twin things going on in the video, and it's really a cool performance and song! 🙏❤
Yes, no training before becoming a trainee, but he has taken professional dance classes in school and not just JYP classes. Also, he still takes dance classes, just like Lee Know, Seungmin and I.N continue to take vocal lessons.
Love this but you should see the WHOLE body pop he did for that transition... it was amazing. ua-cam.com/users/shortsa7TUDOwpGO4?si=wnI4H0EG7RRY_02x This floor was horrible for this floor choreo so he had to do it over and over again. Hyunjin trained in all forms of dance after he became a trainee. He went to a sopa which is a school of performing arts to get more training specifically for dance. He still trains in dance to this day and in all forms. Yes he did say that was why he wears the hat in the beginning and he says it is his favorite part because people are focusing on his dance and himself and not his hair and face.
PLZ react to Stray Kids new OST'S: Night, Falling Up & the Come Play collab! Also SLASH from the Deadpool Soundtrack (idk if u did that one already) 🫶🏼
One of the things I find so impressive about Hyunjin's dance style is how he can project both absolute masculinity and beautiful androgyny as the same time.
Yes! This always amazes me
Es lo que transmite, Hyunjin demuestra talento, estilo, dualidad y eso es lo que nos cautiva 🥰
For me, Hyunjin's Artist Of The Month, is THE BEST ONE, period.
REALLL
Don’t forget Wooyoung’s too tho 😍😍

Hyunjin's charisma is no joke and his body controls are amazing. Our pabo main dancer❤

says a lot about him that he not only got to where he could be an acceptably skilled dancer, but he’s one of the very best in the industry!
Hyunjin is outrageously talented and it's so disheartening to see people only talk about his looks. Yeah, he's gorgeous, but it's the least interesting thing about him.
Ahhh. You looked away when he did his iconic smile. You can't take your eyes off him for an instant or you're bound to miss something.
About him being classicly trained, he wasnt at the begininng he learned the basiscs and mostly hip hop as a jyp trainee, later he enrolled in SOPA (school of performing arts) and he took more and more dance classes. and also ballet!
He's the best ❤
I think this is the best AOTM, what a legend
I'm pretty sure he broke a couple laws of physics performing this number!

OH MY GOD YES IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
Yayyy glad you reacted to this!
all of JYP's artists have had an incredible impact on AOTM, as have Itzy. Ryujin, Chaeryeon and especially Yeji.
First time watching the video Hyunjin, so talented.
Hyunjin AOTM is the best, he's a legend no one can do it like him ❤
Oh Captain, I missed this live, so I just came by to say: your mouth was open for like 80% of this video. 😂 Very expected reaction to Hairjin! 👌🏻😮
He takes classes in LA and he worked really hard to show that he wasn't just the visual .. and he did it. He is a very talented boy.
Hyunjinie OH MY GODNES❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Best reaction ever!
P.S. - you 're rocking this hairstyle, looking fine :D

Amo la fuerza y lo brusco que es al hacer algunos movimientos ,vi a otras personas haciendo el baile y no era lo mismo sin esos detalles lit
Yessssaaaaa
This is the era in which he Officially got really buff because he worked so hard on this.
Have you seen the choreo duo with Yeji....for Play With Fire?
watch this almost daily... and i still forgot to breathe
Hyunjin is classically trained. He is the only one who received a diploma in dancing. He is still taking dancing lessons and training.
I’m waiting for the day they make him dance to Michael Jackson. He was able to show a little in the dance version of „Play With Fire“
He said he'd be main dancer one day and got laughed at.
Boy worked HARD.
Хенджин гениален, это факт!
Roscoe: ‘ it’s the same’!…..😂😂😂😂II fell off my chair laughing…..cos’ it’s true! 😂😂😂
The best ever!
Hyunjin is a fourth Gen dancer. It's his DNA
The amount of times I’ve watched this is unhealthy 😂
