People have poor imaginations. They are unable to imagine things outside of their experience. They assume other families' bday parts are like theirs. They assume other countries' laws are similar to theirs. If they have to 'make up' a fictional society/culture, it will be more similar to theirs than different. This is why they believe that all cultures are equal. They have such little experience that think their principles are universal. When people are exposed to other cultures & peoples, they are less likely to believe everyone is equal.
You mention carmine as a coloring agent in the Australian Fruit Loops. Do you know what carmine is? Carmine is derived from the cochineal insect, a red dyestuff extracted from the dried bodies of certain female scale insects native to tropical and subtropical America. The pigment is also known as cochineal, cochineal extract, crimson lake, or carmine lake. Carmine is often used in food as a red dye. You might find it in the ingredients of candy, food, and even cosmetics. So, they eat the bugs! Read your labels, learn what is in your food.

@@TimPool.BeanieCivilWarlord It was quite obviously a brain fart. This kind of error happens all the time, especially in live conversation, when people are thinking quickly. Happens on Rogan, Lex Fridman, Tim Pool, Eric Williamson, and on and on. Not knowing this, and blowing it out of proportion as though he actually, literally thought that, and then labeling him unintelligent makes you a midwit at best. You should have paused before playing that hand.
The year that I was born Dad was stationed in the Antarctic. He brought some penguins back with him for the San Diego Zoo. Many years later he took me to their penguin exhibit and said, "Let me introduce you to some old friends." and told me the story of the flight back. It was awesome. You might not love going to the Antarctic, but you will come home with lots of stories. You may even have fun. I'll have a blast.
Anyone who seriously thinks the world is flat can't also claim they are particularly intelligent. I've personally worked 2 professions where you had to include the curvature of the Earth, or you would fail at your job. First was artillery in the US Army. When you're firing shells at targets many miles away, if you don't factor in the curvature of the Earth, you will be WAY off target. Second was a an IT Network Engineer. If you're on top of a skyscraper setting up a microwave antenna for network communication with another building miles away, you have to aim your antenna very precisely so the transponders are pointed directly at each other. If you don't factor in the curvature of the Earth, again, you will be WAY off target, and your antennae will not "see" each other. The Earth is a sphere. Period. We put that knowledge to practical use every single day.
As a Systems Analyst at the ESA 🚀 for over 40 years, quite literally a Rocket Scientist, may you explain to me how two inline radio antennas require earths curvature? 😉 can’t wait for this one lol.
@@Hrossey Well the last antenna I installed at that range was in 1997, so let's see if I remember this correctly then! You need an azimuth of the antenna you're aiming at. You need the altitude of both antennae, and since they are line-of-sight, you need no obstructions between them. You need the distance between each antenna, and if the distance is beyond a certain range (I want to say 5 miles), then the curvature of the Earth is going to affect the difference in altitude enough that the transponders won't point at each other. *(Edit) If you're JUST using altitude.* Of course, you can brute-force it with a signal detector tool, which you always have with you anyway to verify signal strength to ensure the best data rate possible. If you're a Rocket Scientist/Engineer, you may be confusing this with the Coriolis Effect which is required for projectiles, aircraft, and of course, rockets, that move above the Earth's surface. The Coriolis Effect is what we specifically used in artillery as well. That has no bearing upon grounded, non-moving objects though. *Edit 2* I think the Rocket Scientist probably understands what I'm talking about, but for any that read this and don't get it, here's a better example: Let's say you're installing a new microwave antenna on top of a building. This building is 450 ft tall. The antenna's tower is 20 ft tall. The circumference of the dish is 3 ft, which means the transponder is a total of 470 feet off of the ground (depending how the dish is mounted). To make this simple, let's say the target antenna is on a building and tower with the exact same height, and the same sized dish so all is equal. These two buildings are 6 miles apart. Now, if you aim your antenna with the correct azimuth with the transponder perfectly level horizontally, what will happen? Answer: Your target antenna will be BELOW where you are aiming because of the curvature of the Earth. As I said before, you could brute-force finding the signal with a detector, but at that range very small adjustments make a large difference at the other end. Imagine you're holding a rod that is 6 miles in length, and is perfectly rigid at that distance (not possible, but for argument's sake). Now imagine how far the opposite end of that rod would move if you move your end one inch. The difference on the other end would be huge. So, using a detector without using an accurate calculation first would be a big pain in the ass. Calculate first, then make your minor adjustments.
The ads thing is a problem but I also want to see the laws around doctor’s offices change to where they have to tell you how much it costs before treatment instead of after. Increase competition and will make it cheaper for everyone.
Competition could exist, but the big medical giants buyout or run out all private practices with money or with threats/fake claims on the practitioners.
Oh cool, my reply was literally hidden. But yeah, competition cannot happen because private practices get bought out, get fake claims put against them, or are so over-regulated that they can't stay afloat.

Tim, my advice: hire a News Anchor and start a New channel *Exclusively* for unbiased *BORING* news reporting. The show is fine, but CNN and MSM left a vacuum that independent creators need to fill. None of them can seemingly report “boring ‘ole news” like the good ole days without interjecting implicit bias.
The format should be radio. ABC used to do news highlights (basically reading headlines and maybe a little context) between music segments. If ABC goes belly up, that format will need to be filled with something.
@@rtyria Fox does the same at the top of every hour. Local stations play the Fox , National 4-5 minute broadcast in between shows. McDonald's stopped using tallow because of the price. It wasn't vegans, who won't eat there to begin with. It wasn't Hindus, who barely exist in America and wouldn't eat there anyways... WTF is wrong with these clowns? 😂
To be fair, there are plenty of Indian Hindu people in the United States, but they go to restaurants that have options that meet their lifestyle/religious choices. Since Hindus don't eat beef they don't go to burger joints and steak houses, and they don't whine that every restaurant needs to change their menu to match their food restrictions.

I work in the Food industry, to explain the ingredients question. Food companies only require certain specs to br obtained such as color, ph, flavor and texture. A supplier to the companies that are the big brands allow many different products to be used as long as they meet the above mentioned specs. So a product always has a chance of having other ingredients as long as the taste/texture ect is consistent at the end of the process

This is why they believe that all cultures are equal. They have such little experience that think their principles are universal. When people are exposed to other cultures & peoples, they are less likely to believe everyone is equal.

Truer words have never been spoken.
I've seen the curvature from Earth while skydiving and it's pretty awesome!
Thank you.👍🇺🇸
As a Systems Analyst at the ESA 🚀 for over 40 years, quite literally a Rocket Scientist, may you explain to me how two inline radio antennas require earths curvature?
😉 can’t wait for this one lol.
@@HrosseyMay you??
If you’re a rocket scientist, English certainly isn’t your first language. 😂
*Edit 2* I think the Rocket Scientist probably understands what I'm talking about, but for any that read this and don't get it, here's a better example:
Let's say you're installing a new microwave antenna on top of a building.
I need a silk MAGA hat to wear to bed. 😊
