The first story actually sounds like the yokai Nure-onago, I wonder if that was intentionally written that way? It’s a yokai I can barely find information on (at least in English) so it was interesting to hear something that was similar to a more uncommon legend.
I thought I remembered there being a similar yokai in some collection of folklore I read, "night parade" or a similar work. Thank you for the name, I would never have recalled it!

The first story is so odd and yet I think I’ve heard something like it before. The idea that some kind of barrier to the after life or world of supernatural is thinner before death makes it interesting. I wonder if it’s the veil gets thinner before death or the veil is thinner and now you’re vulnerable to supernatural entities or forces that lead you to harm. Creepy!
I find the Ghost Girlfriend story wholesome and cute. Its like a black rose. It doesn't lose its beauty after it wilts. It still remains beautiful. ☺️

Great video. Actually all spirits whatever they be human or nonhuman love water. About the story of the female ghost who haunted a man's room. Now how the hell can he tell the story when it is obvious that she took him by the hand after he saw her at the hospital and he died? Unless this story was told through a medium or shaman. Seems strange.
