    Cool stuff !! I have a Squirrel Nut Zippers tour shirt from when I saw them in 1997 (?) in Memphis.
    It’s in the closet. I’ll have to see if it still fits !!!

    Sorry to say the wind up chicken was not Bakelite it was that hard Japanese plastic that was everywhere in the 1950s. Stuff was useless drop it once and it breaks

    Would you use the Turkey jar as a serving dish for stuffing/dressing? That seems like it’s made for that.

      Maybe? It clearly was a cookie jar as the insides had hard corners etc that would make it challenging to get anything but cookies out. LOL Would be fun though!

    Have any antiques you buy shipped to family or friends via UPS or FedEx. Sometimes the stores will ship them for you. I've done this a few times while at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally because I couldn't haul it home in the bike.
