It’s extremely infuriating that it seems she can just get away with this level of blatant corruption, bias and gross incompetence
It's hard to see how a legal system that promises, "A nation of laws, not men" can allow corrupt men and women to thwart the laws at will.
The fix, if one is ever sought, would have to restrict either 1) the politicization of the process by which judges are appointed or 2) the scope of Judicial Discretion. You can't have a situation where a corrupted process leads to a corrupted judge abusing their authority as Judge Cannon clearly has on numerous occasions.
She's doing it for fascism, so...

Because the system was designed solely to protect the powerful. Why do you think Garland acted so slowly? Why do you think Biden appointed Garland? Trump is going to walk away unscathed because that is how it is done in this country.
Coz u Americans has an insane system of politically selected judges, confirmed by politicans for lifetime positions, with the only remedy being impeachment, which will never happen, coz the politicians, who put her there, will never vote to remove her, coz shes doing exactly, what they put her there for. Add to that the further insanity of giving such power to a single person, that there are no fixed time frames required for bringing a case to trial, no enforceable recusal demands, no enforceable ethics rules etc etc etc, uve basically f'd urselves.

@@leslieacoca5876 I agree. I took a look at her docket and orders for several cases. One of them is actually a very complex case and she is moving that one along with regular hearings and issuing final orders the very next day after each hearing in most cases. I think once I saw it took about three days. In Trump's case she is avoiding issuing any final orders for anything. She's doing that likely because she wants to give Trump his way, but if she issue it as a final order then Smith can appeal and it would only take about three times before the 11th would boot her off the case. So, she has issues almost no actual final orders, just sitting on everything, stretching everything out.
The clerks must come forward, otherwise they too are complicit

Like the political system, many of the ‘rules’ were unwritten conventions that no one imagined being broken. And for a long time they were only broken by outliers who then resigned when revealed.
As that system has been broken, there needs to be an overhaul of the legal system to set legal rules & protections, with enforcement & oversight.
