Trans individuals are quick to point out how CIS individuals could never understand what it's like to be them, but think they intrinsically know what it's like to be a woman just because they change some cosmetic elements about themselves. I understand not wanting to be forced to observe cultural gender norms, but there's no such thing as understanding what it is to live life as something you never were, and never will be.

I stopped being friends with them because not only did one of them harass me everyday for several months for accidentally misgendering ONE time through a quick text, but the other had the audacity to consider both me and my family to be transphobic even after everything me and my has been there for them.
Ironically, those experiences *almost* made me not want to support anyone in general, but my brother told me that's how sexism and racism start out.

I've actually been through a very similar situation with one of these people. I, matter-of-factly told them that I wasn't going to participate in their illness, and if this offends them, then be offended. The "be offended" part is something I learned from Matt Gaetz and ended the conversation on the spot.

So many people think if they carry a situation, especially in a retail setting, to the point where they are "offended" they'll get some sort of pandering or compensation. The number of times I saw irate customers blue-screen because I told them I was not going to emotionally invest in their "issue" was golden. Just because someone is at work does not mean customers have them at some social gunpoint to act the way they want them to.

I new someone whos a guy who has long long hair, they wear heels and dresses sometimes. Even kinda talks a lil like a female, someone called them ma'am and after they left he mentions how he's not a ma'am
So just because you look like something doesn't mean it's obvious.
Someone in her same boat doesn't really like being called a female pronoun.
This is also why I avoid saying any pronouns now lmao

Soooo in a way, this person is actually reinforcing stereotypes and gender roles with their argument.
"How you gonna tell me I'm a man with a purse...with long hair...with nails?"
Who says women have to have long hair, use a purse or have nails? Why does a women *have* to be feminine? Why can't we be whatever tf we want?
    Same goes for men.
I have no problem with folks identifying in whatever way makes them happy, but sometimes this really seems counterproductive. I don't have a purse, long hair, do the fake nails/makeup thing- does that make me less of a woman? And who says a man can't do those things if it makes him happy?
Idk dude, it kinda feels like you have to believe in gender roles to feel this way and fck that.

A bullied child identifys with the perpetrator. They take all their impotent rage and hug it tightly, compressing it. They feed it their pain, waiting till the day they can unleash it and make them all understand them.
A bullied child identifies with victim. They sit with themseves and stay there through the pain dont look away. The vow that they do their best to make sure this never happens to others and tend wounds for the ones who suffer.

Theres literally a whole community of people out there who dont understand that you dont have to agree with someone elses beliefs to respect them? But respect does not mean mindless obedience. Why does that community think respect is just straight slavery to their beliefs?
Its like that one video of the mother and daughter fighting. "I'm educating you!" "No your trying to brainwash me."
Theres a huge difference and these people do not understand it at all.
