Nice setup man! This is probably really close to what I'm running now with my Mini T. I went with the 18T pinion because it's the biggest I can find for 2mm shaft and the stock one on the T is 15T. Cheaper 8200kv motor but it's holding up ok so far, and doesn't get too hot. 40-50mph is plenty fast for this scale. Is it the fastest? No, but it's fast enough.
I’m building a mini b Baja bug conversion and putting Axial yeti jr rear paddle tires and front ribs on it. They are a bigger tire and wheel combo. You think the castle or the hobbywing would be a better match? With the hobbywing setup are you running 2s or 3s and what kv motor? Thanks for all the info I appreciate it
Everything I run is 2s. The castle is the way I would go. The motor is physical bigger and more power. The castle motor is a beast. It can take way more gear and weight. Also the trending is nice to use and helpfull. Sounds like you are building something fun. I'm running the castle 7800kv I believe. When i run it on the track i take it to 55% power.

Thanks, I use this for indoor clay track running. This is just what it can do off the track with no prep from clay to Asphalt.
Here you go pinion gears for the losi mini

Which 0808 you have in there? Bueatiful set up brotha 👍🏼
Thanks, I have the 8200kv motor in it. At the indoor track I had to gear up and set the max kv to 5900kv for indoor clay.
You can program it to where the 8200kv motor only does 5900kv?..
What’s the temps like after all them passes?
Nice and cool, it's stock gearing and not really running it that hard
You had to be bored to find my channel. Here is one with a Hobbywing setup.
