My faith is strengthened through this sermon. My assurance of salvation is ever more so strong after listening to this sermon. And I am encouraged to press forward in the faith. Because I know God's grace has reached even me. I can't fight In my own strength. I can't mourn over my sin in my own strength. In my own strength I'm happy in my sin. But there is one who can fight sin and overcome it. It's the Triune God. And He lives in me. He will overcome sin in me for his glory. Therefore I say Abba Father I love you. Praise ye the Lord!
My wife and made the drive from KY to Chicago just to see Dr. Lutzer, but he was not there during the time I was visiting. It was such a privilege to experience the Moody Church, and this just gives me more reason to go visit once again! If only I could land on the day when he is preaching, or at least is in town at the time! :) I work and Answers in Genesis and would love to see if he would come visit us- perhaps get scheduled for one of our speaking engagements at the Answers Center located at the Ark Encounter. We usually get many unbelievers who are drawn to the Ark out of curiosity, and it becomes a great platform for people to see and hear orthodox pastors, like Dr. Lutzer, preaching the gospel.. just as he presented in this sermon from last year.
Shanks Jesus Christ Amen I am still alive, thanks moody church, pastors and all the people of moody church who are attending, working on to know how to be a real Christian, encourage me to become healthy , able to get back well enough to be safe, able to go again to moody church, now I will continue to pray and read bible and I apologize to write my comments asking to forgive me God because of my poor English the second language is and thanks again because of my poor knowledge how to write my comments
We've had the scriptures for 2,000 years has the church. Would you stay after 2000 years we're finally beginning to get it? I would say it's only been recently that's we're actually beginning to understand the scriptures. For the first three hundred years we understood it. And it seems like only now we're moving beyond that point. We've only travel to very little w a y. I would say if we want to keep going in the right direction we have to keep learning where we came from. My opinion that's the only way to keep going in the right direction
