- Alright the X9 down south hasn't ran since harvest of last year and it's time to get this thing out of the snow bank and on to some hard ground to beat the snow melt.

Kind of surprised you were able to check the oil without a encrypted code or written permission from JD. Lol
People tend to forget the lubes used on combines are usually good for the conditions they are designed to work in. Moving vehicles in extremely cold conditions requires extra caution and some extra time to warm up the fluids properly to avoid low lubrication, which causes unnecessary wear.
Gosh i hope this is a great year for you. Truly hope this is the year your south farm needs.
The machines like whyy! did you wake me up from hibernation just whyy.............. >.< lol
Rear wheel assist may actually come in handy this fall with added moisture however since soil is so dry the ground just may suck every drop of moisture up very quickly thus hopefully keeping the "Stuck List" to a minimum
I know it’s a thing on R series tractors but the ecu looks at temperature sensor inputs and determines whether it’s cold enough to use starting aid which is auto injected which is pretty cool. Might be a thing on the X9 too.
Mike, I'm pretty sure I've said this last year but you have millions of dollars of machinery and it all lives out in the weather. Sheds are cheap compared to Ag gear mate. It's time for a big machinery shed 😂👍🏼
Need to build a few sheds to store them in
mike please listen when i say to rip up the seat from the bottom and place a roll of paper towels over the sensors in the seat and then put the leaver cover back on. its some work but it helps alot with the sensor. my dad is a jd tech and thats the only solution hes found that works. hes getting some new prototype seats in soon to be testing at his store location.
crossing fingers for you that you dont see much flooding on your fields. I know by arcola Carlyle and Redverse there is A LOT of water still on some farmer's fields. at least this will hopefully solve the drought problem we been having the last few years.
You're mighty trusting man leaving keys in your equipment. We always remove our equipment keys even at home.
You’re joking right? No one’s going to drive way out there to steal something. Even if they did what would they do with it?
Mike you really do need a shed for equipment storage , oh my goodness poor deeres out in that winter weather 😂
I’ve never watched this guys channel, so I don’t mean to sound judgmental by saying this, but I couldn’t imagine leaving several millions dollars out in a snow bank. These huge farmers/custom guys(?) operate on a level I can’t wrap my head around.
@@EDBZ28 Mike farms huuuuuge areas of land and has explained in the past about when/if on sheds I can’t recall what he said, but Walmart size sheds aren’t cheap.
Meanwhile it’s 86° yesterday in Wisconsin and borderline hot… Winter wheat is 6” tall. Hope to cutting it early July.
Crazy the difference!
I'm in iowa and winter wheat isn't a thing so much in these parts but the farmers around here will probably be seeding in the next week or two. Most of the fields are cultivated already.
It was 90 f out yesterday.
@@silver1fangs Yeah winter wheat not really a thing here either but it gives a place to haul manure during the middle of summer after we cut it and before chop corn silage.
@@silver1fangs I live in Western Iowa. It was 91 here yesterday. Farmers have started planting.
@@myronparks3495 I should have specified nw lol. I'm guessing that most in my area will be planting this week depending on this dumb weather.
Thank you for sharing
🤗🙏🇺🇲
Mike you actually need 4wd for harvest this year that could be interesting content greeting from Ohio
Mike, I’m still catching up on videos but i guess the drought is over for you guys? Praying that you have a bumper crop, God bless you and your family
C and b equipment in Luverne MN has a resistor bypass for the seat sensor.
Parking a million dollar combine out in da Snow Mike 🫣🤔🫣
12 of them sitting outside at the emerald park dealership alone. If a farmer has all their equipment inside and it’s all never been rained on, that isn’t a farmer, that’s a hobby famer.
Hope it dries up soon for you mike that x9 is a beast thanks for the video
So cold!
Nice to see you back in some equipment..
The girl started pretty darn good !!
Surprised that combine did not get stuck without back wheel assistant
Great video Mike
Mike magnifique moissonneuse batteuse x9 1000 et la neige et le matériel agricole
Mines 11 Celsius so not so cold haha that is almost the coldest we get it in the Netherlands
Got to be thankful for the moisture though
Zk master tech did a video on the seat fix a while a go.
find the fuse for that sear air control and pull it
Interesting the term Reset was used.
I missed the part of why they were left outside anyway? Most farmers I know use what’s called a barn or shed.
Isn’t it time you built a couple of big shreds to put machinery in ? Dunno how you can leave it all out like that.
They don’t have a crop to sell. You need money in order to build those you know.
Got a few million to donate for them to get sheds? It comes down to more land or a shed.
@@crandonborth They could have built a couple years ago.
@@merv190 With $4.90 wheat??? Not hardly lol.
@@crandonborththey have like 10 headers, they’d only need to sell one and that’d pay for 3 sheds. Well over here in Australia at least anyway
Snowmobile! 😊 10:06
Crazy to think a million dollar machine doesn’t have RWA as a standard option.
How much damage is done by leaving outside compared to storing in a shed
Not much in a climate that gets 8-10 inches of precipitation per year.
They are left outside at dealerships, it makes no difference
why I love mike?
*continues to start his 500k+ (idiotically low assumed) price machine for a shits and giggles, pretending he couldnt have waited for a liiiiiiil longer*
yeah, he's a legend.
Boy, thats a lot of beef jerky 😜
You will understand what spring in ukraine is. MUDDY.. Good luck when it warms up.
Hello, I forgot where your farm is in US, thanks, nice video
He’s from Canada
Salut Mike , je suis très étonné de voir des matériels aussi onéreux restés en pleine air, et non remisés dans des hangars hors saison de récolte . Cordialement
Ils ont pas les moyens de construire des Hangars.
@@tarawa6839 If here in Spain we farmers have large sheds, I can't believe that they can't cope with the large amounts of land that you cultivate and the large number of modern machinery that you have.
@@TheW540 They can have sheds or machinery. Not both. Storage is nice but a shed can’t plant a crop or harvest one either.
@@clearskiesranch1362 lol we have sheds for all of ours lmao it just depends if you care enough or not lol
@@clearskiesranch1362 It will be for land to build a shed to store the machinery, seeing the machines you have in America and Canada I don't understand why you can't, to see the x9 a very expensive machine in the open air with snow falling on it hurts me to see it.
How did that x9 combine started?
Howdy Mike
There are updates happening for the seat
The deer are flocking up. Points to all the John Deers lol
John Deere; now with a parole officer built into your equipment.
Have you driven a New Holland T.9?
He is a proper farmer, wouldn’t touch one with a 10’ pole.😂 sorry, just never get excited about them, since we had a few bad experiences with the blue stuff
Mike greetings from Spain, I am surprised to see that you have all the machinery outdoors and more in your area with the big snowfalls and the very high low temperatures that you suffer. Why don't you store all your machinery somewhere?
Greetings
Mike & Family have on their bucket list a larger heated shop with wash bays & possible cold storage but with the poor crops for the past few years this wish is currently low on the bucket list.
There would be almost nowhere to store most machines in one place or at a reasonable distance.
Because they do not want to pay millions for that, they rather buy land of new equipment
Pretty insane to see a yield of 16 bu/ac when here in Belgium it's like 150 bu/ac.
The thought of leaving those beautiful machines outside makes me cringe.
You got a couple million to donate for a shed?
It's no different than when it's on the sales lot
@Logan Hudson a simple shed doesn't cost a couple of million, if you do the work yourself in the winter it costs 300k. And that's money well spend if you can store machines for 30 years
@@albertterweij well no. A shed to store 8 combines, 8 headers 5 giant drills, 4 sprayers and 10 semis is gonna cost a lot more than that. Plus there crew doesn’t sit around all winter, they already have stuff to do, when would they have time to build a shed. Basic opportunity cost.
Other than the shed, how about a workshop, personally i prefer have a place to work on the machines well even in the winter than have a newer tractor, they dont have a shed neither to work on the seeders
Why... Honestly I think your optunity to put it away... Always the rich kids 😂playing
How come you don’t store the combines in a shed
Sounds like Mother Nature played an April fools on you
@zkmastertech has a video out to fix the seat
How can you leave john deere outside😢
Are the deer good to eat?
How do you think your 2 track will do this soggy spring?
No ofcourse combines do not well in the snow because they have to work in the summer. I'm surprised you put antifreeze in it.😉
you drove over that bar
A lot of hobby farmers in the comments section on this video. 😂
Where are the Fendt ideals from 2020?
Burnt or traded in at the local Deere dealer where they were auctioned off and then hopefully melted down for scrap.
I fear the same thing that's happening to the deer will start happening to us...
Its going to if we keep going the way we are.
Suprised it was showing 1 bar on temp gage. Usually shows 0 bars being that cold
Was just wondering where the next mike video is
Well, when the zombies come you will be eaten ,because you had to wait for a monitor. Lol.
Who leaves a million dollar combine out in the elements?
What's the average size of farm in US ? Is there many farmers ? How farming looks there ?
Why don't you have sheds for your tractors and combines ?
Morning
Is there still a dealership in Shaunavon SK. I have not been thru there is almost 21 years!!
8:56 anyone else see that piece of green metal in the tire track before he ran it over? Hopefully it's something expensive.
It was on the ground before he got in, he picked it up even…
A 6620 will harvest 16 bpa just as good as a x9. Thesemorons can leave their combine outside because they don’t actually combine anything with them. They get into them and spend a month driving them around making lines in the field.
60,000 acres is nothing to harvest from what you're saying? 😂
Not really their fault that yields are 80-90% lower due to severe drought.
what a stupid comment what is up are you jealous?
Clear your druged mind before opening your hole
And people wonder why some of these new engines don’t last as long, I would never start that thing .unless it’s been plugged in for some hours
Did you make any ruts when you got on the hard ground?
When do you usually try to get spring wheat in by?
Well normally they would be planting already but mid May the latest.
I don't see global warming, now there is global cooling, even in my tropical place
no garage omg
👋🙂
Let’s blame Frankels for rutting up your dads lawn. 🇨🇦👍
-11 and that's not to cold 😖😖 we are a bunch of softies here in UK we would be shut down and being told to stay indoors and not travel 😂😂😂😂
its a crime to get outside these combines😢
why, just leave it until It warms up . and the snow melts 😔
The deers are dying because they can't find anything to eat...shows deer combines in the snow 😂
In our country, farmers' farming licenses and machines are lost if such expensive machines are stored outside in the snow and rain. The Claas JD service provider also voids the warranty.
From then on, any faults will have to be paid for out of your own pocket.
These dealerships also offer storage facilities here
But we Eastern Europeans can build garages with storage hangars and no machine will break down
America is a wasteful society
Un autre monde quand tu connais le prix de l'engin, le voir dehors sous la neige me trou le c......l.
Certainement moins de contraintes quand France.
Hormis ça, beau matos
Wow the only thing there is too many of is people
No a few more of them need to run out of feed. Preferably all of them if possible and potentially speed that process up by causing high velocity lead poisoning.
👏👍👏👍👏👍👏🙏✝️
you drove right over that piece of metal right over if now if why I ask new age farmer I guess because a computer never told you to move it ?
Piece of plastic
U put ur feet on the mat but leave it outside poor machine
your equipment will last a lot longer if it's kept undercover and kept clean
Are you going to make a large donation so they can build a shed big enough to store their machinery?
It doesn't matter to these bigger farms. They are traded with warranty they don't keep combines for 5+ years
You need a shed, should have had it a long time ago
Are you going going to pay for it? Got any other bright ideas that spend other people’s money?
I got a idea but what if everyone went in together and buy and build a couple sheds for the equipment… millions of dollars just sitting out side
It’ll sit outside at the dealership. What’s the difference? Can’t have everything in one year
Mike y don't u put your machinery in a shed your paint will fade
Still think the Deere's are better than the Fendt's?
Well the Deere started and moved. From what I’ve seen on this channel that would be a major miracle for anything made by Fendt.
Is man due for a reset Mitch?
A million dollars outside? Really?
Just over 1t/ha is horrible
Must be bored.
Мрія на такому попрацювати але не зараз на даний час в ЗСУ
A full 13 minutes of starting a combine and driving it 200 yards 😴😴😴, these boys wouldn’t last a day on a stock farm
guy buys a x9 and lets it sit outside all winter? psh
He can have an X9 or a shed that an X9 can fit into. Not both. It’s an easy decision from that viewpoint. A shed isn’t very useful for harvesting crops.
@@clearskiesranch1362 would be a sucker if dealers had a built sheds for all those combines
