would love a video where it’s like if you like X… try Y. specifically a comparison between older/forgotten books vs new releases. Or maybe debut authors vs. established authors.
I'm not that far into it but so far it's really impressive. I like how the author makes the historical aspect seem very real but not super important. She doesn't try to write pseudo-Victorian dialogue, she doesn't focus on the minutiae of daily life or try to show how much research she's done. She just lets it be what it is. Also the steam. Like, I don't even care for that type of spice, and I still thought it was hot!
Hey Jen here's some of my favorite steamy or smutty romances 1. Truth or dare by Danielle Allen 2. Rivals for love by eve Vaughn 3 . Stranded by eve Vaughn 4. Knot so lucky by tulina pooches 5. Private eyes by Katrina Jackson 😊
I would never have tried "Her Villain" if you hadn't recommended it, but because it passed the Jenn test I did and really like it so far. BDSM isn't really my thing that much nor are historicals, but I always trust your suggestions because even if I don't love everything about the book I always find something that makes it worthwhile. And I never ever would have even tried if it weren't for you! So thank you!
I'm just finishing Not So Truly Yours. I love love love it! It is truly unique when I love both main characters. Can't wait to go back now to the other books. I'm going to hold off from plunging into book three (I really want to) and start at the beginning. Thank you always for your great book recs.
Thank you so.. soo much or you’re recommendations… you got me hooked.. Bared to you…. Beautiful things…Celcanian series… outlander…and more… you literally got me hooked on audio books… 😊😊😊
I have multiple book journals and I shared a video near the beginning of the year that has everything about it. ❤️ I think it's called How I Annotate, but it also has my journals. I am pretty self conscious about Journaling in front of the camera... so that's a video with everything in one. ❤️
I usually feel the same about 3rd person pov in romance but this one somehow hits different. For me, anyway. So, you might still want to try if the pov is the only thing stopping you.
Thank you so much for recommending The Pleasure Protocol--what an honor! ❤

Definitely going to give Her Villain a read! I'm always looking for a darker historical.

Good morning Jen thanks for sharing another wonderful video ☺️ ❤
Gah! I really need to start the Grumpy Boss series! 😅
Have you ever made a book journal? If so, I'd love to watch videos related to it!

Is “Her Villain” written in 3rd person too? I don’t enjoy reading 3rd person pov. 😂
It is. Most HRs will be. Fantasy, HR and Paranormal tend to lean that way.
